As I slowly regained consciousness, my eyes fluttered open to a grim reality. I found myself confined in a dimly lit cell; my hands painfully cuffed together. The dull ache in my injured hand intensified as I tried to move, reminding me that I hadn't received any treatment for the injury.

The cell exuded an eerie atmosphere, resembling a forsaken basement. The absence of sunlight rendered the surroundings even more oppressive, leaving only a single flickering candle to provide feeble illumination. Shadows danced on the walls, whispering secrets of captivity and isolation.

My ears strained to catch any sound, my heart racing as I heard faint footsteps drawing closer. Instinctively, I closed my eyes, feigning unconsciousness, hoping to gather any bit of information without revealing my awakening to my captor. Fear clutched at my throat, and my mind raced with questions about why I was here and who could be responsible for this sinister abduction.

though I have someone in mind...

As the footsteps approached, I focused on keeping my breathing steady, suppressing the urge to react with panic. The unknown figure loomed near the cell, and I held my breath, anticipating any movement or sound that might betray my consciousness. Each passing moment felt like an eternity, and I strained to pick up any clue about my captor's identity or intentions.

The air grew tense, and I sensed the presence lingering for a moment before slowly receding. Only when the echoes of footsteps faded into silence did I dare to exhale, my heart pounding against my chest. My situation remained shrouded in uncertainty, but one thing was clear—escape from this shadowy prison would require all my wits and courage.

My heart sank when I heard a deep, raspy voice pierce the silence,

"You're awake."

A wave of disappointment washed over me, cursing myself for not being convincing enough in my ruse. Slowly, I defeatedly opened my eyes, meeting the gaze of the man before me.

There stood Kenny Ackerman, his presence exuding an air of danger and unpredictability.

I knew I was in serious trouble.

"What do you want from me?" I managed to ask, trying to steady my voice despite the fear that threatened to engulf me.

Kenny smirked, his eyes narrowing as if sizing me up. "Oh, we have a curious one here, don't we?" he replied, his voice laced with amusement and something darker beneath the surface.

I tried to maintain my composure, but the sight of him ignited memories of his reputation—a dangerous and feared figure in the underground world.

"Why am I here?" I pressed, attempting to gather any information that might help me.

Kenny chuckled, seemingly amused by my attempt at defiance. "All in good time, my dear. For now, let's just say I have an offer you can't refuse," he said cryptically, leaving me with more questions than answers.

Kenny leaned in closer, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of amusement and something sinister. "You see, my dear," he began, "you possess information that I'm quite interested in. Information that could lead me to something of great value."

I felt a rush of anxiety as his words hung in the air, realizing that I was now a pawn in a high-stakes game. My mind raced, he was probably talking about the titan serum, but I knew that revealing too much could put me in even more danger.
