Chapter1: Answered questions

At last we arrived; I still can't shake the fact that it took us 4 days to arrive to this castle. I don't know what's so special about it. Does it belong to an evil mastermind? It was so well hidden the trees were almost as tall as the building itself. I stared at the trees and got a chill, who knows what lies inside the branches thrashing in the darkness.

Ew!! I really should stop creeping myself out, I swear need a break from myself sometimes.

Jayden got off the horse and I mimicked his actions. He led both the horses to what I assumed to be the stables. I obviously followed him because I really didn't want to stand in the dark by myself. I observed the stables hoping I would find something that would answer my questions. First thing I notice is how immense it is, it could hold up to 50 horses or more. Does this belong to some kind of army? Maybe the corps the old lady mentioned about? But who in their right mind would use horses to fight; in what year are they living?

Ugh! Again with these stupid questions, who the hell will answer them? Obviously not me, I don't know shit. Almost in cue Jayden gets back his hands were adjusting some kind of straps. Maybe this is a sign, should I question him? "Hey..." I started he looked up to meet my eyes, ok this is great "why did you say that I am dangerous" I looked down at my floppy arms and looked back at him "You're making my ego go sky-high my man" I smirked. He didn't react instead he walked past me and mentioned to follow him.

I breathed in and breathed out, FUCKKK, I can't with this guy. I swear I would feast on his dead body if he keeps ignoring me like that. Did I complain? No. I just followed him like the loyal dog I am. I shuffled my feet on the ground, kicking random rocks that were on my path. I glared at the back of his head hoping whatever psychic abilities I have could drop him dead. Jayden abruptly stopped in his tracks; I got surprised 'did it work?'

"Get down, right now" he turned around to face me "Ok listen I know you've been ordering me and I didn't complain and fulfilled your wishes, but I'm not that low" I almost yelled at him. Jayden squeezed the bridge of his nose, and sighed vociferously. He then moved away to reveal stairs and mentioned with his hand "just get down"

Oh..... I sure hope the floor could open up and tear me to pieces

"Why?" I know I was annoying him and part of me was enjoying it, I had nothing to lose. I stood there not moving a muscle giving him a challenging glance. He wasn't having any of my hardheadedness and it definitely shows. He roughly grabbed my arm and dragged me to what looked like a dungeon of some sorts.

He then opened a cell door and threw me inside and instantly left. And there I was rolled on the dusty floor living my trash dreams. I looked at the ceiling and sighed getting myself up. The prison cell was barely six feet by four. The walls were the same thick grey stones as the dwelling of the region. The bed was a plank of wood on legs, there was a mattress but it was so dusty and crusty to the point it would make anyone sick, just imagine the germs and insects that could be living inside there. I visibly shuddered.

I sat of the floor thoroughly examining the cell looking for a way out. Damn it, everything looks unbreakable, it's not like I have anywhere to go. I leaned on the stone wall behind me closing my eyes getting lost in my thoughts, until I heard a strange echo. It sounded like metal cuffs or something like that. There's a possibility that there is someone down here with me.

I wanted to shout and get their attention but then stopped realizing the time. Whoever's down here must know some information about this place or this world. But they must be fast asleep ,I won't bother them and I'll wait till morning.....

Fuck it

"Hey!" I screamed in the top of my lungs, no reply. Being the light sleeper that I am, I got so offended that my inmate was having a blast at dream land "Is there a party in your head or what!? Get up!!" I screamed again, nothing. That's it no one's getting any sleep tonight. I screamed at the top of my lungs and started kicking the floor and making a ruckus
