Boopkins got back with a picture of Kurumi, which Melony grabbed and started drawing. She considered herself lucky that she’s been practicing her art skills. Before she added the finishing touches, Meggy came up and told Melony something.

“Hey, uh, Melony? Can I ask you for a favor?”

“Sure, Meggy! What is it?”

“So, um, can you bring back another phoenix egg besides the one to bring back Axol?”

“How come you need it?” Melony then remembered that Meggy told her that she lost someone as well. Meggy said this to comfort Melony after Axol’s death. “Oh yeah, didn’t you say you lost a friend as well? Now that I think about it, you never explained to me who it was.”

“It’s… It’s a long story.”

“Well, Axol has been waiting almost a month, what’s a few more minutes?”

Hearing this, Meggy explained everything. From Meggy and Desti’s rivalry, to the ban on anime, to the battle with Francis and his Sephiroth army, to Meggy becoming human. She finished off her explanation with her saying a final goodbye to Desti’s spirit, and how with remembering the phoenix eggs, she could finally see her friend again.

Meggy looked a little embarrassed afterwards, but Melony couldn’t help but just smile. She knew Meggy was tough, but she had no idea that she’s been through this much. “Meggy, I can see how important this is for you. Don’t worry, I’m not coming back until I have an egg for each of us!”

“Hehe, thanks Melony.”

“Of course, Meggy! You’re my friend. Of course I’ll help you in any way I can!” The two hugged each other in gratitude. After this, Melony added the final strokes to Kurumi Tokisaki, and seconds later, she was standing in front of them. She had jet black hair that was in a style similar to Saiko, except the 2 tails were much longer to the point that they reached her waist. She had one red eye and one golden eye, and the typical Japanese school uniform.

Meggy and Melony were glad that Boopkins wasn’t there, because she was quite beautiful. Even they were taken aback a little by her looks, but they got over it, for they had much more important things to worry about.

Boopkins did warn the two that Kurumi had a hatred towards humanity in her show, but luckily Inkweaver makes it so whoever is summoned obeys its wielder, hence why Sephiroth obeyed Francis instead of destroying the world for his own enjoyment like he would in Final Fantasy 7.

“Alright, Meggy. I’ll be back in a jiffy!”

“Okay, Melony. Be careful!”

“Meggy, I am a god, I’m sure I can handle a mostly peaceful place like Port Aurora.”
