Previously on Quietus:

"ANY QUESTIONS?"

"YES MS. SPARK"

"Did your parents not tell you about this?"

'Military based? Really?'

'If I had told you, you would have run away.'

"Are you going to come in or what?"

"Hi guys, I am Avril."

"GET THE HELL UP LITTLE SOLDIERS, TRAINING IN 30 MINUTES"

"Oh, you will get used to this kind of lifestyle."

"Blame the Adrenaline"

"WE START ALL OVER, THANKS TO MISS SPARK."

"Way to go African girl?"

"I am Avril."

"I know who you are."

"you're too beautiful to bother yourself with such nuisance."

"Umm Matt, did you hear that?"

"save them."

Honestly from the scale of one to ten, the amount of shock I am in is a 12. who on earth commits suicide in the middle of the hallway right next to the classrooms and stuff?

Matt slowly let go of me and searched for his pockets, took out his phone and dialled a number.

'yeah this is Matt, another suicide on our hands Josh.'

what on blood hell did he mean by another? Second day of school and people are already killing themselves. Fascinating really, I am very "impressed".

"What do you mean another?" I ask completely traumatized by the sight. It is a boy, clearly somewhere around my age. He looks smaller compared to the guys I have been seeing around. He looks younger than 19 but not older than 16. his body looks fresh so probably if we had gone just in time we would have been able to save him. he hanged up from the ceiling by a rope, his eyes pierced through mine like poisoned daggers in the medieval times. He is dead and he will not be able to harm you.

"I will explain everything to you later." He whispers in my ear after I realise the guy he was speaking to just arrived with some other people, doctors I presumed. I walk away from them slowly, looking for something, for this boy to get up there he needed to have a ladder or a pretty long stool, so if this was suicide then practically amongst the two things will be around. I kept searching around but I did not find anything.

"This is not suicide." I turn to the people with my trembling voice and tearful eyes.
