Hi guys,
This is well is part two, of course. I am so exhausted. I keep eating every time a new chapter, now there's nothing left in the fridge to eat. Anyway, I will correct all my grammatical errors after a while, well maybe when I am done with chapter six, but bare with me. And no, this story has nothing to do with me, if so it'll be stated before the chapter begins.
I hope you enjoy the chapter.
Previously on Quietus:
"It's late. you should get some rest."
"You are behaving like our father."
"Our father was a good man."
"Scortillum ignavus et mater nostra."
"Vos respiciet mama aut occidam te meipsum."
"What are you going to do with the murderer?"
"Kill him,"
"Saving a corpse is one thing but living with it is absurd."
"Listen dear sister,go take a shower, talk to your demons, do anything to keep your childish mind busy."
"We do not fight battles that do not belong to us."
"Non ridiculam negotium Claudia."
"Her personality is no secret though, nothing is hidden forever your highness."
"Someone's inside the herbal morgue."
"Nathan killed Avril?"
Avril's POV:
It is very dark but the kind of dark that enables one to allow their eyes to survey the area. The kind of dark that scares your soul because you feel as though there is something creeping in the midst of the forest. Wait what? I am in a forest? I get up from the ground and amble around, tree after tree assembled together like soldiers at war, yes I am in a forest. I turn around in circles like a trained ballerina warming up for a performance, all the trees look alike, I am just looking for a sign, a way back home.
I walk ahead, not knowing exactly where ahead is, I feel the presence of something or more like someone so I pace up, traipse faster-faster than before.
I don't know if I should just run? Maybe there is really nothing out here, just my imaginations running wild? But what if there is something out there? I run as fast as I can, not looking back however I am trooping around very quickly, but I still stuck at the same place, it's like I am going round in circles. My breathing rate rises, I am sweating like a fountain or a waterfall, I can literally feel my heart pumping out of my chest, like where does it even want to go? Stay put dear heart of mine, we are dying.
