Rue(MC)'s POV :
I entered the room with Lily right behind me and guess what I saw ? That's right Cleo forcefully feeding Dan her homemade cake and Dan complaining.
"My my what do I see ? Dan being an obidient Lil baby ?" I said in a high pitched voice. They turn to me and smiled.
"Hey Rue /boo." I rolled my eyes as a smile crept up on my face.
"Stop calling me boo Dan it's so cringe." He chuckled. I went towards them as Cleo put the plate down on a nightstand beside Dan's bed. First I hugged Cleo who delightfully returned it.
"What about me ?" Dan complained. I chuckled and hugged him. He patted my head like a parent praising their child for a job well done. I let go and sat down beside the bed.
"Feeling better ?" I asked smirking at Dan.
"With the food they serve here ? Nah ma'am not happening." He groaned.
"That's why I was feeding you my cake but you were being stubborn." Cleo complained. Dan scrunched his nose in displeasure.
"Who the hell eats a cake first thing in the morning ?" Cleo opened her mouth to protest but closed it instead she settled with a glare. I giggled and looked at Lily who was holding a tiffin box.
"In that case Lily please hand it over to me ?" Lily smirked and handed me the box. I turned and gave it to Dan. He looked at it with eyebrows raised.
"What's this ?"
"Spegetti made exclusively by me." I said with a wink. His face lit up as his hands moved to open it quickly. He took the spoon attached to the box and drove it through the meal. He took a spoonful and put it in his mouth. He closed his eyes and hummed in delight. Then he looked at me seriously causing me to gulp.
"Marry me." I blinked. Once. Twice.
"Excuse me ?!" I asked wide eyed.
"This spegetti tastes like heaven ! Damn Hackerman is so lucky ! He will get to taste this every time after marriage !" I felt my face burn with embarrassment. I immediately covered my face with my hands and groaned. He chuckled while the other two full on laughed.
"How's he doing anyway ?" I put my hands down on my lap and looked at them. Feeling empty.
"I don't know." I said nonchalantly.
"Damn...well he is hackerman I am sure he is hiding and planning to ambush you and then taking you away." I laughed.
"Dan he is not a criminal !"
"But he is wanted by the government. Damn you've got such a bad taste in men." He huffed causing me to chuckle.
"What can I say ? I love bad boys ~" I winked at him and got up.
"Anyway I better get going. Gotta say hi to our Tommy boy too and Hannah...besides I promised Alan that I would have a cup of coffee with him."
"Meh you will be missing out on my awesomeness." Dan said clicking his tounge. I chuckled and bid them good bye. Then me and Lily got back to her car.
"Alright ! Next destination Duskwood police station !" I chirped. Lily started her engine and drove the car out of the parking lot and soon enough we were on our way towards Duskwood police station.
