Jake's POV :
I sighed as the cold water touched my  tensed muscles. I looked at my hands. I still can't believe that she is here...I was holding her...I have always imagined what it would be like to see her for the first time. The Chinese resturant and remote island weren't the only thing in my mind regarding her. I have watched her pictures...more than necessary... I have tried to find out more and more about her...maybe even stalked her a little ? Well I can't help it...she fascinates me in more than one way...and now that I saw her without any screen separating us I can't help but find myself wanting to get close to her...closer than anyone and anything... I want nothing to separate us...nothing....no police no murders no...clothes... My eyes widened and I shook my head cheeks burning in embarrassment. How can I have these kind of thoughts without her consent...?! I am acting really creepy...I sighed and closed my eyes remembering the past two days. FBI had nearly swarmed every possible exit. I didn't need to be outside to figure that out. Then I heard a commotion from the exit near the grimrock. Somebody was screaming about a fire. I knew it was risky but I had no other choice I had to take advantage of the situation. I walked towards it. There was fire everywhere. I decided to take another risk and threw my mask , a hoodie and a spare pair jeans in the fire and tried to get out of the exit. It was difficult due to the smoke but not impossible. I got out and waited for few minutes watching as the police being busy comforting Hannah and taking someone away on a stretcher. The FBI's weren't here probably thinking I wouldn't take this route due to fire. Well I wouldn't have if I had a choice. I swiftly ran into the forest and blend in with the darkness. I decided to stay in forest with the minimum food and drinks I had with me...until I heard  footsteps coming towards me. I grabbed a pocket knife and started walking towards the person. Once they came into view I felt my body freeze up. It was Rue...looking at a abandoned house intently. I put the knife back in my bag and slowly approached her from behind. I accidentally stepped on a twig just few feets away from her. She looked at me wide eyed. She looked scared. Well of course an unknown man was standing right in front of her wearing all black in the middle of a forest. She raised her hand and was about to punch me but I grabbed her hand...though I gotta admit the punch was strong...if I hadn't taken self defense lessons for years I would have had a black eye by now. I chuckled at the thought. I turned the shower off and walked out of the bathroom. Wearing just a towel around my torso. Once I stepped out. I saw Rue arranging my clothes on the bed. Like a sweet loving wife. I smiled and walked closer to her. I grabbed her waist and straighten her up. She squeaked at the sudden contact.
"Thank you wifey~" I whispered in her ear huskily. She turned to me blushing heavily.
"I o-out c-change y-you !" She squeaked out before freeing herself and running out of the room. I chuckled at her cuteness.
