Rue(MC)'s POV :
I giggled. He grabbeg my hand and kissed the back.
"Did Jessy told you I am French ?" That would explain this sudden kiss as it may serve as a greeting between friends.
"Maybe ?" He wincked at me. She definitely did. I pulled my hand back gently. And got up.
"Anyway I shall get going. There are lots of places I would like to visit."
"Then I shall not keep you to myself." I smiled at him.
"See you later Phill."
"See you later Rue." With that I walked out of the bar. I got my phone out and opened the map. I set my destination at the dare house. What can I say ? It has piqued my interest. I started walking inside the forest and kept walking with my headphones on. I put the phone inside my pocket as I didn't want any unwanted attention. I followed the directions spoken through the headphones and soon enough they lead me to a run down house. I touched its wall... And suddenly I heard a snap of a twig from behind which alerted me. I turned around and a man was standing before me wearing a black hoodie , jeans and gloves along with a black face mask. His sapphire eyes stared down on my chocolate ones. He was a feet taller than me. I gulped and tried to punch him but he caught my hand and pulled me to his chest hugging me. I tensed up. I was being hugged by an unknown man in the middle of a forest !
"Rue..." His husky voice sent shivers down my spine.
"Finally..." His voice sounded relieved yet desperate. Wait...my eyes widened. It can't be.... Is it...?
"Jake...?" His grief tightened around me but not as much that it could hurt me. I felt my vision getting blury. I was crying... I hugged him tightly.
"Jake ! You are alright ! You are here ! You are safe ! I can't believe... I...thought... Lost...I...lost...you..." I sobbed uncontrollably as he rubbed my back.
"I am so sorry Rue....I had to turn my phone off as I had no charger...I tried to reply to you but my phone died...I am so sorry...I worried you..."
"Jake...I love you so much.... I was so scared...I felt helpless...I had to come here...something told me that I would find you here..."
"I love you Rue...I love you so much..." I pulled away and grabbed his hands.
"Let's go to the motel. We will discuss everything there. We shouldn't talk here. It would be too risky." He nodded.
"Pull your hoodie down. It will help you blend better." He did as told. His wild black hair was finally on display. I gotta admit he looks really sexy...specially with those piercings. I grabbed his hand and lead him out of the forest towards the motel.
Once inside our room I looked the door.
"Jake go take a shower."
"But I have no change of clothes except a pair of shorts.
"It's OK I have a spere t-shirt with me."
"You do realize that your shirts won't fit me right ?" I rolled my eyes as a small blush made it's way up to my cheeks.
"I had thought about that thus I brought a shirt for you. I didn't know your size so I brought a 3XL which is my brother's size."
"Oh then it will be okay. That's my size too."
"Good now go I will cook something for you in the mean time."
