Mortality has always haunted everything since the dawn of existence, it was the only promised thing in a web of possibilities and for humans, it was their greatest fear as well as their greatest limit.

The Cullen's house was quite isolated from all the other houses, separated from the city with miles and miles of large trees.
They hid their secret under the gloomy skies of England, trying their best to blend in whenever they had company. Therefore, the Cullen's house was the only place they could remove their masks.
The house was built using dark wood, though most of the walls were replaced by glass, making it seem like you're sitting in the midle of the forest.
The Cullens were enjoying their last few days before the new college year starts:
Jasper and Emmett were playing chess on the ground, both of them focusing and not saying a word.
Edward was playing the black piano beside them, it was a new song and he was trying to tune out Emmett and Jasper's loud thinking to be able to focus on the piano tiles.
He sighted in annoyance when he started hearing another train of thoughts, Alice entered the room from one of the windows and jumped down the stairs.
"Hey guys!" She greeted enthusiastically, earning a smile from Jasper as Emmett focused on the chess board.
The pixie haired girl laid down on the couch, arms dangling off, facing Emmett's back and mouthed to Jasper Emmett's next move.
Failing to hide a grin, Jasper moved his queen and cornered Emmett's king.
"Checkmate."
Frustrated, Emmett pushed the board with a little more force than intented, resulting to a chess piece hitting Edward's head.
"Emmett!"
Alice was laughing loudly as Emmett chased Jasper around the room, making it completely impossible for Edward to focus on the piano, so he gave up and sat on the couch beside Alice.
Alice got a little nervous when she remembered her vision, and tried her best not to think about it so that Edward wouldn't read her mind and know of it.
But even though Edward didn't catch the vision in Alice's mind, he still heard her trying to hide something.
He turned curiously to her, though Alice continued to play dumb and hummed a song she had heard on the radio to keep her thoughts away from the vision.
She then got up from the couch quite quickly, even for a vampire, "I forgot i need to-" she tried to make up an excuse, but Edward got up from the couch and interrupted her.
"You're hiding something..."
"I'm not," She defended, trying to walk out of the room but Edward persisted.
"You are, come on what is it?" He asked curiously, knowing that Alice rarely ever hid something in her mind from him.
Jasper and Emmett were back in the living room, having finished their daily wrestling match. Jasper glanced at Alice upon hearing Edward, trying to hide her vision in his mind as well.
