The queen takes Urbosa to Hyrule Castle to meet the new princess
"Yes, I think that will do nicely." The chief hummed as she examined the new weapon designs that the blacksmith had been working on, and she nodded and handed the papers back to her. "As soon as you have them ready the way you like, we will test them in battle. From there we will make any adjustments and changes as needed."
"Thank you, Lady Urbosa." The woman bowed to her before she headed off to her forge, excited to begin her new project as soon as she could. Urbosa lounged back into her chair, tapping three fingers along the edge of her armrest. She exhaled deeply through her nose, basking in the silence for a long few moments before she spotted two guards approaching her.
"Chief Urbosa." The one of the left spoke, both of them stopping just at the top of the stairs with the tips of their blades pointed towards the ground. "You have a visitor."
"A visitor, hm?" She inquired, and it was only a few moments before she saw a noble woman walking up the steps, one with a lengthy white dress and wavy, golden hair reaching just past her chest. And this wasn't just any noble, this was the queen. "Why, if it isn't the lovely queen herself."
"Hello, Urbosa." The queen bowed her head to the chief, and Urbosa returned the gesture. "I apologize for visiting without writing you in advance."
"It's quite alright. You're always welcome here, whenever you like." Urbosa softly smiled. "Though I still must ask, is there a reason for your visit?"
"Yes, and it is rather important." She answered sheepishly, and Urbosa's mind immediately starting running when she thought it could be urgent. "I would like you to come to Hyrule Castle with me and meet my daughter, Zelda." Urbosa's eyes widened, but a smile crossed her lips all the same.
"A daughter?" She tilted her head, and the queen nodded. "So I suppose that's why you haven't written back to me for some time. I had a bit of an inkling, I will admit."
"I was going to write you the night she was born, but I decided it would be better for me to come to tell you in person." She admitted, stepping closer to Urbosa. "So, would you like to come see her?"
"If Asha is willing to watch over things while I'm gone," She rose from her chair, and she quietly chuckled at the smile that appeared on her friend's face. "Then I'd be more than happy to meet the princess."

Not too long later, the pair arrived back at the castle. It was late afternoon by then, and the queen had left the princess in the care of one of the nursemaids during her short absence. She figured her child must have been napping, and once they arrived at the nursery, she found she was correct.
"Here she is," The queen spoke softly as she welcomed Urbosa into the room, lightly closing the door behind them. She led her over to the crib, and they both peered in to see the newborn princess. She had soft golden hair, just as her mother did, and Urbosa quickly identified many similarities they shared. "Isn't she lovely?"
"She is." She leaned over the edge of the fine wood, still gazing down at the princess as the queen headed over to the rocking chair beside the cot. After a few more moments, she finally peeled her eyes away from Zelda and looked to her friend. "Where is Rhoam?"
"He's at the Royal Ancient Tech Lab. He just wanted to pick up some reports and any updates they may have for us. Normally, I would be the one to do so, but he wants me to relax and not worry about anything for the time being. Besides, I want to spend as much time with the baby as I can for right now."
"You took a trip all the way out to the Gerudo Desert to tell me the news," Urbosa reminded her. "I'm sure Rhoam would have found that unnecessary."
"Oh, anything that involves you is necessary. You're quite important to me."
Suddenly, a cry broke through the quiet room, and the queen moved to get up, but she stopped since Urbosa was already there. She leaned over to see the golden haired princess laying within it, and a tender smile met her lips as she reached inside for her.
"Hello, Zelda," She whispered, the child now held comfortably in her arms. Her fussing quieted but never fully stopped as she gazed up at the Gerudo Chief with huge emerald eyes. "She reminds me so much of you."
"Fussy and needy?" The queen joked, smiling softly as Urbosa brought the infant over to her.
"Yes," Urbosa nodded in agreement, and the tired mother's smile fell as she held her arms out for her daughter. The chief chuckled as she set the baby into her hands. "But it's not just that. Her magnificent eyes, her soft complexion, and her smile. She is as lovely as her mother."
"I am not fussy." The queen argued as she pulled her child close to her chest, glancing away from the Gerudo woman to look at her daughter. "She is precious, though, isn't she..."
"I'm sure she will become a beautiful, dignified queen. Just as you are." Urbosa smiled, and the queen softly giggled, but she sighed.
"That is very sweet Urbosa, thank you. But I believe that looks can be fleeting." She looked up at the chief, and Urbosa glanced down at the small princess. "I would rather my daughter be blessed with true happiness."
Zelda's fussing had calmed, and she lightly stretched and yawned, and a small, happy smile graced her lips after. "There's true happiness."
The queen chuckled, holding her finger out to let the tiny hand of Zelda wrap around it.
"How is Rhoam taking fatherhood?" Urbosa asked as she stood beside the hylian once more, and her question was answered with a gentle sigh.
"He has been wonderful with Zelda, and I can tell how excited he is to watch her grow up. But I am worried he is thinking a bit ahead." She rocked her child, watching the way the princess's eyes fluttered as she attempted to fight sleep. "He has many ideas for what he wants her to do and be, and I just... I fear he may overwhelm her or himself."
"Well, what do you want for her?"
Finally, Zelda seemed to fall back asleep, cuddling happily into her mother's arms. The hylian queen smiled and answered, "I want Zelda to be whatever she wants. Of course, her role as queen will be certain. But she will be much more than that. I see limitless potential in her."
"I'm sure you're right." Urbosa grinned. "She is your daughter, after all."
"She is my little bird," She answered delicately. "One day, she will spread her wings become a beacon of light. One that Hyrule will look up to."
Zelda smiled once more as she slept, and the queen and chief both smiled tenderly as they gazed down at the child.
"She has your smile." Urbosa whispered. "The sweetest smile in Hyrule, no doubt."
She reached to place her hand over her dear friend's, who offered her the same smile her daughter had just presented. They both looked down at the sleeping child, and as the queen rested her head back, Urbosa kneeled down and sat with her as she whispered,
"Our little bird."
