♡ Chapter 6: "Kid's, Animals, and Casanova's" ♡

The next day I found myself helping Kiki set up the decorations for the shower. "Uhm I think you should move it a little bit to the right Mei!" Kiki said as I rolled my eyes adjusting the streamers "Kiki! This was the same place I put the streamers before!" I grumble snickering a bit. "Well I needed to see it in the other spot too! This baby shower NEEDS to be perfect after all!" I smile getting off of the ladder. "I need to go get my present Kiki, I trust this is enough?" I asked looking around the house littered with colorful balloons, presents, and of course streamers. "Oh alright then! Thank you for the help Mei!" she waved me off as I went to the old lord's house. "Hm. now I remember it was around here somewhere..." I thought going around the property looking for something. "Aha! There you are!" I smiled digging up a box that was peeking through a pile of rubble, once I opened it I could see a faded picture of Lord Malik and Lady Matilda holding baby Levin amongst the other things. I quickly went and cleaned up the box organizing the contents and adding my own items in, like a cat mobile. "There now to wrap this up and give it to Aphmau." Once done I traveled back to the house seeing Aphmau already talking to Zoey. "I hope you make good use of it." I hear Zoey say before she hands Aphmau a diamond. "Ah Aphmeow! Hi there sorry I'm late! I had to go and take care of something, but uhm here's Baby Levin's gift from me!" I smiled drooping my ears in exaggeration. "What this?" she asked opening the box. "I saw those when I was out patrolling one night. Might help you y'know?" I said handing her 5 diamonds. "And these are for you. I know you'll put them into good use!" I smiled. "Oh wow! T-that's kinda a lot. I didn't expect you to- Never mind May I ask where you found this box Mei?" she looked at the contents, all specific items that can tell you who Levin's Parents were. "I found it near a pile of rubble while we were moving items from the burned down house." I explained. "I had to clean it up quickly hence why I was late." I scratched me cheek looking away. "Thank you Mei I really appreciate it!" she hugged me tight. "No problem!" I hug her back.

When it started to turn dark I decided I should go on patrol whilst Aphmau was still talking with the guest. When I got out I darted up a tree making sure to move swiftly. 'My, it's been a while since I've done this!' I smiled jumping from house to house, patrolling the streets when I saw a rather familiar girl in the plaza. "Is that Sasha? With Brendan?" I whispered hiding myself so she won't see me. I had enhance my hearing with my magicks so that I could listen to her conversation with Brendan. "So where you from Sasha? Certainly a pretty girl like yourself would want to live with me~" 'Really Brendan?' I face palmed. "Oh I'm from a kingdom far away from here..." she says with a slightly annoyed tone hidden under her sweet smile. Just then I see Aphmau walking up to them after talking with Logan. "Hm? Brendan what's going on?" she asked. I had stepped down from the roof so as to not seem suspicious when I join their conversation. "Hey Aphmau, I was just tellin' Sasha here all about you! (Hey can I hold Levin? I'm trying to make it work here with her...)" he whispered the last part not knowing Sasha was *politely* staring daggers at him. "No. get your own Swag Brendan!" Aph scolded him. "Swag? What does that even mean!? (Geez Aphmau, come on! Ugh, fine I'll work my magic on my own.) SO SASHA! How do you feel about... hamsters?" he asked getting ignored as Sasha had gone to converse with Aphmau. "Greetings Aphmau! Brendan here has told me so much of you. Oh but where are my manners... my name is Sasha, I come from a kingdom Far from here. I want to travel the world so... here I am! Hehe! Say is that your baby? Aww he's cute! Can I hold him?" I noticed Aph got a bit uncomfortable with her question so I butted in just in time. "Lady Aphmeow! I Molly wanted me to give you this!" I said running up to her lightly shoving Sasha out of the way as I handed Aph a random stuffed animal and some diamonds. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to hit you! Uhm..." I smiled apologetically. "Ah thanks Mei!" Aph smiled at me. "Oh it's no problem at all cutie! ~" I stared at her for a bit smiling. 'I didn't know she was a flirt?' "Ah may I ask your name per chance?" I offered my hand to greet her. "I'm Sasha." She said gripping my hand a bit tightly and cutting it before letting go. During this time Aphmau had managed to escape the plaza and Brendan was just off to the side waiting for us to stop talking. "My, that's a wonderful name! I seem to remember hearing of that name back when I was visiting Meteli... Say do you happen to be from there?" I asked slyly seeing her think for a moment before answering. "You must have encountered someone similar to me I suppose?" she smiled not wanting this conversation to continue so she talked to Brendan to her dismay. Of courses I see no reason for me to annoy and probe her with questions this time around so I just let her, subtly following Aphmau making sure she went out safely. As she walked to the docks I could see Khira with Kiva next to her. I had waved to them but didn't get close since I was monitoring the area.
