"Mei not you too?" I hear Aph say to me in disappointment. "Hm what do you mean?" I hopped down from the tree I was sitting in. "Don't tell me you're falling in love with him?" she looks at me then Laurance. "Come to think of it you two would match I mean- you guys do have similar features I guess??" she eyes him and me again. "Wait are you sure you guys aren't related?" I looked at her confused. "His hair is dyed Lady Aphmeow. Me and him aren't related..." I explained looking back at Laurance who... WINKED AT ME!? "Huh." I froze flustered and a blushing mess. "HAHAHAHAH... Maybe I should go... G-goodbye lady Aphmeow!" as soon as I said that I ran as fast as I could on 4 limbs. "M-Mei!" I halt when I hear someone call me. "Donna? Is there something you need?" I dust myself off and talked to her. "I-I was just wondering if you wanted to be a bride's maid in my wedding..." she asked nervously. "Of course! I would love to Donna. Thank you for choosing me!" I smiled and hugged her. "I'm guessing the wedding won't be till later huh?" I questioned her. "Yep! I'm still waiting to talk to lady Aphmau about it!" she said. "Then keep me posted okay?" she nodded as I left to check up on Garroth.

I had been talking with Garroth about some mundane things along with the happenings of the village. "Mei... Do you think I'm ready to take on Brian as an apprentice?" I hear Garroth ask me as I was fixing up the items in his chest. "Hm. Honestly Garroth it's a bit soon..." He looks down at my comment. "After Zenix I don't think I can ever treat an apprentice the same..." I sat beside him. "Not everyone is like Zenix but... Brian he's a nice kid..." I trail off lowering my tail and he notices. "And what?" he looks at me confused by my actions. "It's not the time..." I look around the place trying to ignore his gaze. "What do you mean Michelle?" Damn I'm in trouble he doesn't usually call me my full name. "Would you look at that? Raven's here with you Helm!" I stand up and so does he. "Thank you Raven" he says to the Wyvern as I slip away so that he won't question me.

"Lady Aphmau? Where are you going?" I ask the ravenette I spotted near the docks. "Oh Mei! I was just about to go to Meteli!" she looks at me then the boat. "Would you like to come with me?" she motions to the space in her boat. "Of course! I'd love to!" I accepted her offer and climb in. "So what are we doing in Metelli?" I ask her. "Well we're gonna help find Cadenza and Castor. Apparently When Laurance check up on them they weren't back yet." She explained. "Oh. I see." I looked across the sea of kittens 'So this was around the time Laurance was turned into a shadow knight?' I thought as I saw the land of Meteli up ahead.

"Look there's Laurance! HEY LAURANCE!" Aph pointed out as we neared the lord's house. "Mei? A-Aphmau, thank goodness you guys are here. Hayden and Kenmur are going at each other's throats right now, so I haven't been able to go check on Castor the Chicken Shaman" he explained to us the situation and asked us to clear ourselves off for basic procedure. "I don't want to hear it Punk! You are just acting like this to throw off my campaign! I bet you have her safe somewhere and just want me to leave I swear I've always been wary of you since the day you arrived here!" Hayden yelled at Aph. "Hayden! Shame on you!" I tried to cover Aph as she talked with Kenmur and the others. Noticeably angering Hayden's guard. "Mei why don't we go visit Castor, Y'know to see if he's ok?" Aph told me as we took our stuff. "Sure of course!" I agreed

As we neared the shaman's house I instantly picked up on the scent of blood. "Blood?" I accidentally said out loud. "What?!" Aph panicked as we ran towards the hut. "What the- What happened?!" She asked herself before noticing Dr. Bee "Whoa! I wouldn't go in there if I were you young madams! There's been slaughter! My bees and I could not make it in time to maka save them!" He stopped us. "How would bees make this situation better?" Aph asked as I stepped closer inspecting the blood stained house. "This... Is Sasha's doing?" I asked as if dumbfounded as Aphmau read the letter. "We... Cadenza. We need to go to the Nether. We need to find cadenza lady Aphmau!" I thought about how they must have hurt her. How drained Castor would be as they tried to take his magic, and Laurance... "We need to tell Laurance what we found first." She said sternly as we made our way back to Meteli
