"AGH! YOU WONT GET AWAY WITH THIS- AGH-" said Laurance. "Now, now, don't get too exited there Laurance... we've only just begun..." The man hiding in the shadows laughed at Laurance. "Gene... Don't play with him like that... he'll be part of your army soon enough" a woman entered the room. "Sasha. Did you check on Vylad yet?" Gene inquired as he stared at Laurance. "He's not saying anything to me as of the moment... Rest assured he won't be getting out of that cell anytime soon." She said patting Gene on the back. "What about Zenix?" he finally faced the white haired woman. "Frankly I don't know where that kid went and I don't care." She said with a deadpanned expression. "LET ME GO- GAH" Laurance screamed again. "Let's leave hearing his voice is starting to get annoying." Gene said ushering Sasha out. "GAH- M-Michelle....." Gene smirked. "I'll find that girl for you. Don't worry she'll join you soon enough." He cackled as he went about his duties.

'I wonder if Aphmau's doing something today...' I asked myself as I patrolled the streets of phoenix drop. "Mei!" I hear someone call my name so I turned around. "Oh lady Aphmau! Speak of the devil and they will come..." I mumble the last part as I spot Levin crawling besides Aph. "AWEEE BABY LEVIN IS SO BIG NOW!!!" I coo at the child. "Heh I know right? Just a week ago he was still bundled in a blanket held by Zoe..." Aphmau smiles as she watch me pick up Levin. "Are you sure he should be crawling outside though? He might get himself hurt... Not to mention all the dirt, he might get dirty and or sick!" I scold Aph a bit cradling Levin at the same time. "Ah- well... Uhm..." I give her a deadpanned expression. "You don't know what your doing do you?" I ask her. "Ha-ha... was it obvious?" she tilted her head like a puppy. "You know what! Since Zoe and Kiki are busy, I'll accompany u with baby Levin on your round's just to make sure he's safe!" I tell Aph not accepting a 'no' for an answer. "Well, I was just done with my rounds. I was thinking of taking Levin to the old lord's house, y'know, since his mother was the old lord's wife and all that." I smiled. "Yeah let's do that!" I pumped my fist in the air still holding Levin on the other hand.

"Here it is! Huh it's a bit more barren then I remember?" Aph said taking in the surroundings of the old lord's house. "Oh we just cleaned out all the ruble and ashes! Dale wasn't much of help though..." I grimace over the fact that man just drank while I got dirty picking up the sacks of coal. "Anyways! Levin this is your house! Or what used to be your house... uh this might have been your room..!" Aph rambled as she let Levin crawl on the floor. "Uhm t-that... we're actually just gonna cover this up..." Aph said sealing off the basement not wanting Levin to fall in or hurt himself. "Mei why don't we fix up this place for a bit? Y'know maybe in the future this could be a birthday present for Levin..." Aph offered me some wood. "Hm sure! That would be fantastic!" I smiled helping her fix up the house. "It's getting kinda late actually... we should get going back soon Mei" Aph told me as we finished placing the last of the wood. 'Huh? Did I just hear something?' I turned around trying to pinpoint the sound. "And we should get going... Are you ready to go Levin?" I hear Aph say as she climbed down her wall. 'There it is again!' I thought slowly walking towards the door. "Levin you're- standing up? What? Wait where are you going?" I look behind me to see a walking Levin going in front of me through the door. "What the-" I followed Levin to see Laurance. "Oh Irene..." I stared at the man in front of me... "LAURANCE IT YOU! YOU'RE SAFE!" I hear Aph say behind me as I stared at him picking up Levin in my arms. "Why do you look so different? Why are you wearing their armor?" Aph questioned only to realize afterwards "Shadow knight..." I whispered. "If you're here for me, take me. Don't hurt Levin or Mei." Aph said covering us. "Wait, where are you going? Come back!" Aph followed Laurance. Me and Levin stayed behind. "A wither" I say as I see a flower blossom from where Laurance once stood.
