Nightshade plans his next attack and it involves sending a small but powerful explosive to the home of this young billionaire. The sinister terrorist posted his package and sealed it inside of a fireproof envelope and knows that it will kill the billionaire. Crimson Daredevil is still hunting down this sadistic terrorist mastermind and has no idea about this deadly letter bomb. Richard is opening the evening mail and sees the strange letter.
"Strange, what is this?" Richard asks
Arthur returns home two hours later and sees flames coming from the office. He kicks down the door and sees his butler lying unconscious on the ground. Arthur calls for an ambulance and the fire service. After putting out the fire, one of the police officers, hands him something. It is another letter.
"Looks like Arthur Constantine is dead, nothing will stop me now"
Arthur realises that the bomb was supposed to kill him. Luckily, he was in the wrong place at the right time.
Nightshade to the area where our hero lives and parks another van in front of the seawall. His real plan is to flood the city and wipe it clean of corruption. He hopes that his flood will strike fear into corrupt members and wipe them off the streets.
As Arthur stood there, stunned and shaken by the close call, he couldn't help but think of Crimson Daredevil, the vigilante who had been hunting Nightshade for months. He knew that he had to get in touch with him, to warn him about the new threat that lurked in the shadows. Arthur quickly pulled out his phone and dialed the number that only a handful of people knew, the number that would connect him directly to the Daredevil.
Meanwhile, Nightshade was busy setting up his next move, unaware that his plan had just been foiled. He had parked his van in front of the seawall, and was now preparing to unleash the flood that would bring the city to its knees. He cackled maniacally to himself as he imagined the chaos and destruction that would ensue.
Back at the Constantine mansion, Arthur was pacing back and forth in his office, waiting for Crimson Daredevil to answer. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the phone rang, and Arthur quickly picked it up.
"Daredevil, it's Arthur. I just received a letter bomb from Nightshade. I was lucky to be out of the office when it went off, but my butler wasn't so fortunate. He's on his way to the hospital now," Arthur explained, trying to keep his voice steady.
There was a pause on the other end of the line, and for a moment, Arthur thought that the connection had been lost. But then, the Daredevil's voice came through, calm and collected as always.
"Arthur, I'm on it. I'll get to the bottom of this. Can you tell me more about the letter? What did it say?"
Arthur hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to reveal. But something about the Daredevil's tone put him at ease, and he decided to trust him.
"It said 'Looks like Arthur Constantine is dead, nothing will stop me now'. I think Nightshade meant to kill me, but luckily, I was out of the office when it went off," Arthur explained.
The Daredevil's response was immediate. "I'll get to the scene of the crime right away. I'll analyze the letter and the bomb, and see if I can find any leads on Nightshade's whereabouts. In the meantime, Arthur, I need you to stay safe. Nightshade is getting desperate, and we don't know what he's capable of."
Arthur nodded, even though he knew the Daredevil couldn't see him. "I will, Daredevil. I'll stay hidden until this is all over."
But as he hung up the phone, Arthur couldn't shake off the feeling that Nightshade was still one step ahead of them. He looked out of the window, his eyes scanning the darkness, wondering where the terrorist would strike next.
As the night wore on, the city seemed to hold its breath, waiting for the other shoe to drop. Little did they know that Nightshade was just getting started.
The van parked in front of the seawall was equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, designed to pump millions of gallons of water into the city's streets. Nightshade had spent months planning this operation, studying the city's drainage system, looking for the weak points that would allow him to flood the city.
As he worked, his mind raced with visions of chaos and destruction. He imagined the city's skyscrapers underwater, the streets filled with debris and wreckage. He imagined the looks on the faces of the corrupt officials, the ones who had allowed the city to rot from the inside out.
And then, with a flourish, he flipped the switch. The machinery roared to life, and the sound of rushing water filled the air. Nightshade watched in awe as the sea wall began to breach, the water pouring in like a tidal wave.
"It's begun," he whispered to himself, a maniacal grin spreading across his face.
As the city began to flood, panic set in. People scrambled to higher ground, screaming and crying as they tried to escape the rising waters. The authorities were caught off guard, unable to respond quickly enough to the crisis.
And in the midst of it all, Crimson Daredevil appeared, his red suit a beacon of hope in the darkness. He leapt from rooftop to rooftop, his eyes scanning the streets below for any sign of Nightshade.
But the terrorist was long gone, vanished into the night like a ghost. He had left behind only one clue, a message scrawled on the side of the van in bold red letters:
"The city will be reborn from the ashes. And I will be the one to bring the fire."
As the city struggled to come to terms with the devastation, Crimson Daredevil knew that he had to act fast. He had to find Nightshade, and put an end to his twisted game once and for all. The fate of the city hung in the balance, and only one man could save it.
The battle between good and evil had reached its climax. The question was, who would emerge victorious in the end?
