The Great War

For 50 years... Normally it'll be short for Asair, but the rest of the race is like a long time, even Salarians can't live that long and since that, Odin just took off without a word. The whole Citadel and every-none race alike were in complete panic.

Panic is a bit understatement.

Riot all over the place, women birth in the middle of its chaos, vandalizing and they've drunk every bar, drink them all dry. The Council did every way possible to maintain order, it took 3 years to get anything under control.

Tevos was at her offices with Sparatus and Valern, the new Salarian council, overseeing getting everything together and sorting it out.

If Tevos had to describe how much things have changed in the past fifty years when the 'god' known as Odin left them with not just a cube made of unknown materials but also a vague message of his return in one single word.

Chaos, total absolute chaos.

Martial law had to be instituted not just on the Citadel but on every major planet and colony under their control, it was total hell as they were on the brink of total collapse of not just law and order but also the economy.

Yet somehow they survived, they somehow, someway, survived as now Tevos sat in the council chambers listening to the status update of the news of reality they found themselves in at large.

For the Asari race, they did everything in their power to keep the galactic community together and not be divided. Relying on their diplomatic skills and clever wording to calm things down. So far, they've managed to keep things on a tight leash. But for how long?

For the Turian race, they went on Martial law with the fleet and the army to keep the Citadel safe and explored a bit to find any useful resources. And the Turian Hierarchy gives orders to keep an eye on Batarian forces, since the treaty is useless. They will treat them as enemies if they would dare to cross into Citadel space. Turian did however destroy the slave base and rescue the poor slave people. As much the Batarian wanted to, but due to the state they are in, there is nothing they can do.

The salarian councilor Bensin was reading off the report, "of course due to the shortage and lack of Element zero, the current stocks are being used at a rationed rate as alternative forms of power and propulsion are being researched, as well as a new form of FTL due to the lack of Mass Relays."

Sparatus looked at these two fellow councilors "Well I've been authorized by the Hierarchy to inform both of you that we are restarting our Nuclear reactors on Palaven, and have begun to research spaceflight with a Nuclear reactor instead of the original standard Ezzo Power Plant."

Tevos sighs as she rubs the temples on her head, "The same for my government as well. It seems the estimates of thirty years before we run out of Ezzo are starting to look real, I can only hope that we find an alternate source of power before the clock chimes zero." Said Tevos with an honestly tired voice as she as well as many government officials had been pulling all-nighters for the past fifty years trying to keep their way of life from being plunged into anarchy.

Sparatus had something he wanted to talk about, that is what to do with the Quarians and the Krogan. Sparatus spoke up so the rest of the council could hear him.

"I would like to consider a cure for the Genophage , only a partial cure and I wish to offer the Quarains a shipyard so they are able to fully repair their fleet and pardon them for their past deed from the Geth." Sparatus said with full confidence in his voice.

Tevos catching what her fellow councilor was up to, "I see it's also to get us in their good graces so that they will help us with making sure our Eezo doesn't run out too quickly, also it doesn't help that no one knows a ship like the Quarians." She said with a smile, it was true the Quarians lived on their Migrant Fleet, so who better to help them in this time than them. But the plan also had its flaws, there was no guarantee that they would accept such a thing, and the Krogan, well there were a few that would like the plan but the vast majority of Krogan would push for a full cure rather than a partial, which meant that the partial cure would have to be a secret operation rather than a public one, make them think they were overcoming it.
