"Ladies, sit down. Please make a good impression towards our new student. Don't make such first impressions where only the Boys do." the teacher said. "Let's welcome our new student. Can you come here and introduce yourself to us?" I soon stand and make my way to the front.

As soon as i'm about to speak, i spotted that girl whom i met in that corridor, smiling widely. She waved her hands, just enough for me to see it.

Well, what do you expect. That sudden event makes me totally nervous right now. I thank God and all the Saints as soon as soon as I delivered my words successfully, well, even though i stuttered, a bit.

Well, thanks to that girl for making me nervous.

"Ladies, listen. Since today is your first day, I want you all to be guided by the rules that our school have implemented since day one." she continued talking while every student listens to her attentively.

"First, I don't want to see any of you wearing revealing top, dress, skirt, or pair of shorts. It is posted in our bulletin board along with the school's dress codes and I deduce you've already seen it."
"Us, ladies must look simple and pure and conservative like our Mother Mary. We are here to study not to tempt the boys next door. Understood?" we all said yes and she continued talking, mostly about the boys.

When the bell rang, I packed my things and when i'm done, i go to the canteen.

The ambiance of the canteen here is overwhelming simply because we all are girls and are expected to be neat not just for ourselves but to our surroundings.

I just ordered a sandwich and a canned softdrinks and immediately locate a table that is not yet being occupied.

"Hey." here she is again.

I look up to her. "Hi." I said. I don't know if i'm shy or just not in the mood for any conversation. Maybe the latter.

She sit opposite to me and starts eating her sandwich too, well in a girl manner.
"You seem timid and taciturn."

"Right, first impression. I'm so used to it." I said as i take a nibble to my sandwich.

"You're right. I'm sorry, i judged you right away"

"Well, it's not a big deal tho, really. I just hope people should somehow stop stereotyping, like when they saw someone who's quiet, they'll labeled his/her as shy or timid. Why not instead get to know them and find out if your assumptions are true"

"Basically what i'm doing right now". She confidently said while nodding in between her words.

I smiled. "Thanks," I finally uttered. I look at her to see her reaction and then, I saw how she smile again.

"No worries. so, wanna join us in that table?" inginuso niya ang isang table kung saan naka-upo ang iba pa niyang mga kaibigan.

Bago pa man ako magresist ay agad niya akong hinila palapit sa kanila.

"Girls, meet Chantira. She's the one i'm talking about earlier."

"Hi, Chantira. I'm Kath, short for Katherine" The other two also shakes hands with me at nagpakilala rin sila sa pangalang Brie at Sandy.

I composed myself first before responding to them with a smile. In a minute, we suddenly clicked because all of us have something in common. I gazed for Elle to see her reaction and she's there, opposite to me, smiling.

Brie and Kath bid their goodbye to us while Sandy, Elle and me went together to our next class.

The days went by too fast and it's my third week here in Catholic School.
