HER FRIVOLOUS REASON #2
It's been three years since we're having this we-don't-know-what-to-call relationship with Engr. Ven. Time went up so fast.
Nandito ako ngayon sa office, I was editing something in AutoCAD na kailangan na bukas ng isa sa client ko.
May kumatok sa pinto. "Come in" I said, focusing still.
"Arch, someone wants to meet you po."
"Who's that?" I asked. Hindi parin tumitingin sa kanya dahil sa isang maling galaw ko lang ay uulit na naman ako.
"It's Engr. Ven, Arch," The moment she said that, medyo nataranta ako.
Shit, tonight is my supposedly dinner with her.
"Can you say to her to wait for me? I'll be in the lobby in less than a minute. Thanks"
Nagpa alam na rin siya at tuluyang isinara ang pinto. Mabilis kong inayos ang lahat at nang matapos ay saka ko inoff ang laptop ko.
Bahala na, gigising nalang ako nang madaling araw para tignan kung anong mali ko. Sabi ko sa isip ko.
"Sorry for making you wait, Ven. I was in the middle of you know, rushing" I said pagkarating ko doon.
"It's fine. Hindi naman ako naghintay ng matagal," she smiled. We both made our way to the parking area and I opened the passenger's sit and let her wait. I soon jump off too and drives my car.
Nandito kami ngayon sa isang hotel restaurant which is si Ven mismo ang nagsuggest.
They served us steak and different types of seafoods etc.
"Hmm, this steak is so yummy. You should try it, here" I let her when she made a cut of her steak using a knife and fork at hinayaan kong tikman 'yon.
Ninamnam ko muna 'yon. She's right, this steak is really tasty. "How was it?" She asked.
"It's good."
"It's medium rare," she said while drinking in her wine.
"What?!" I was about to spit it pero huli na ng malaman kong nalunok ko na pala. "You fooled me."
She just laughed and continue eating. She knew I don't like meat and I hate medium rare kind of cook.
While the dessert is being served,
"Do you know what kind of style this restaurant is?" I asked out of nowhere. I love telling her random things especially if it concerns Architecture.
"No. What?" She said, looking interested.
"It's Art Deco"
"No wonder the appearance of the place seems so elegant" She's familiar with it because we already designed something like this in the past.
OFFICE,
We are designing a residential house naman ngayon. The client wants a tropical design while still maintaining the modern approach. It was challenging for us but since malapit ito sa dagat ay tinake advantage ko iyon.
