Chapter 5: That Boy

THAT BOY.

Binigyan ako ng pinsan ko ng ilang books na pwede ko raw basahin and even gave me some recommendations on movies/series na wlw para raw magkaroon ako ng idea.
Pinarangalan niya rin ako kung paano i-treat ang isang girl, not the way like how you treat a boy.

Remembering our conversation last night,

"Dapat alam mo kung paano manuyo ng babae since babae ka rin"

"Kapag tinotoyo, bilhan mo lang nung cravings niya or favorite foods niya, swear magbabati na kayo niyan agad"

And many other advice na akala mo talaga maaapply ko.

It's Monday and I am here in our classroom, waiting for everyone. Dahil kakaunti pa lamang kami ay nagscroll muna ako sa facebook.

I was in the middle of scrolling when a notification popped up.

Elle mentioned you in a post.

I tried to viewed it and smiled at what she mentioned me.

'To be a furr parent with someone I love'

She's really serious into this, i thought.

The class starts and I noticed Elle's silence the whole time kaya kinausap ko siya noong break time namin.

"Hey. You okay?" I asked.

Tumingin siya sa akin. "H-ha? Oo"

"Is it about last night?" I asked out of nowhere. Agad niyang tinakpan yung bibig ko dahil doon. I chuckled, "W-why? chill. as if i'm going to tell it detail by detail infront of these people"

She looked at me, shyly.
"A-aren't you feeling awkward? Like i said everything all of a sudden. I'm afraid you might never wanna talked to me again"

"I see nothing wrong with admitting your feelings to someone, especially if that's something that's been bothering you."
I take a bite to my food after answering her question.

"Thank you," she said as she looked at me and smiles.

Buong break time ay bumalik na naman ang madaldal na siya which I loved about her. I am more used to it than to her silence because I knew that if she acted that way, something is wrong. I feel like i spent two months trying to master that attitude of her. I laughed at my own thoughts.

After matapos ng klase ngayong araw ay nagkayayaan kaming magkakaibigan na pumunta muna sa convenience store.
Nauuna yung tatlo habang kami ay nanatili lang sa likod.

Nang mapansin kong maraming dumadaan sa gilid kung nasaan si Elle ay nagpahuli ako ng kaunti at nagpalitan ng pwesto, para ako ang nasa gilid kung saan dumaraan ang mga sasakyan.
She seems not to noticed it because she's busy talking about the time she's being courted by a guy in her 8th grade.

"She even went to our house and offered me flowers and a purple teddy bear !" she acted like as if diring-diri sa mga ginawa nung lalaki way back.

"Maybe that's his way of showing his interests in you," I added, which is true. A guy would never court a girl if he doesn't have interest in her in the first place.

"That exact time, I am courting a girl"

"You can't be serious"

"I am. Infact she heard the news herself and that night, she said she don't want to be entertained anymore. " nagpatuloy siya. "Sabi niya 'siguro straight na ako' kaya ako nagpaligaw sa guy. for pete's sake mas baliko pa ako sa ruler !"
