Song for the chapter: Who ~
By: Lauv, BTSOutlines of new eyes and visions of you
Girl, I think I need a minute
To figure out what is, what isn't
These choices and voices, they're all in my head
Sometimes you make me feel crazy
Sometimes I swear I think you hate me like, uh
I need a walk, I need a walk
I need to get outta here
'Cause I need to know
Who are you?)()(())((()))(((())))((((()))))()(())((()))(
"Alcove is such a motherf-"
"Please. I won't tolerate you talking shit about my father."
Cara raised a perfectly shaped eyebrow at Travis. Yes, he hated his father.
And yes, he is a motherfucker.
But he also paid him.
And if his father ever got to hear this coming out from his mouth, Travis would be ripped out of the title of Raven's manager.
Sure, Raven was a pain in the ass, but right now, she was the most successful idol of their company. And it served to be a so-called "honour to be her manager than the CEO" according to his father.
Long hands grabbing at his shoulders in a strong but supportive grip jerking him towards the white washed walls a little. Making him sigh deeply, pinching at his nose bridge in what looked to his girlfriend, stress.
"The meeting was so chaotic. How can Catherine and Raven even be step-sisters?" Cara tried to change the topic in order to wake the other man back into the conversation.
Travis' icy blue eyes came into her view as his veiny hands slid back lazily into his black plant's pockets after shaking off the woman's hold from his shoulders in a careless manner.
"How am I supposed to guess that? It was just so...fuck it hit me right in the face." Travis exhaled out. While Cara saddened at his ignorance towards her presence.
She ran out of the meeting room as soon as Travis raided away angry. Not even caring if Callisto doubted her one bit. She risked her job. For him. And here Travis was, all dishevelled and angry at her. Telling her not to insult his father when he had done it countless times in the past.
"So?" Cara stood at a distance, not in the mood to argue with her boyfriend over his lack of attention for her. Or maybe even lack of love. "What do you want me to do, now?" She continued, knowing that the other man was merely complaining to her in a posh tone. A sign that he would ask something of her...as always.
"We need to tap into Raven's life. Who she talks to, what she talks about, and why the hell did Callisto and Raven walk in together? They're not supposed to do that." Travis' gaze turned serious once again, his voice, toneless. 'It only meant business.' The man reassured himself.
