*JACK'S P.O.V*

I woke up earlier than y/n.  And I just laid there watching her.  Yeah, I know, creepy.  But she was so pretty, calm, peaceful, and the most gorgeous thing in the world.  Her eyes began to countinuesly blink.

"Were you watching me?" she asked.

"Yup," I said laughing.

"You're so weird," she said smiling as she sat up, and kissed my cheek.

I got dressed, and did all the morning basics. I told her that I was taking her to a suprise date.  After I finished getting ready I walked her to her house so it'd be her turn. I waited in her bedroom watching TV, checking my social media and what not.

I asked her to give me a "room tour," just so I would know where to find her bathing suit.  As she went into the shower, I got to her drawer and took her bathing suit and quikly ran and put it into the the trunk of my car along with other needed things.

As we drove there, she began to guess where we're going.  But nope,  she never guess it right. I laughed more than half way the ride.

I covered her eyes once again and dragged her to our location. The beach.

*Y/N'S P.O.V*

Jack uncovered my eyes to reveal the beach spotted right in front of me. He pointed to one side where he already had a picnic set up and ready for the two of us. We ran over and sat for a while enjoying the look of waves crashing into the sand.

"I wish I had my swim suit right now," I said gazing at the water.  Jack began to whistle as his fingers walked through the sand and hit a bag. He pulled it closer to him and pulled out my bathing suit. "Jack! I can't believe you did all this for me!"

He laughed and said,"of course I did, I love you."  I replied, giving him a kiss saying I love you back, and ran to the nearest restroom to change. By the time I was out Jack had already been waiting for me in his swim shorts.

"Hey," I said. He checked me out then frowned in concern. "What?" I asked, confused.

*JACK'S P.O.V*

Y/n came out of the restroom and she looked beautiful.  I looked at her and frowned, when I saw lines on her skin, at her side, right above her belly button.

"What's that?" I asked tracing it with my finger tip.  She looked at me in guilt.

"Nothing," she said looking at her feet kicking the sand. Of course I didn't believe her because of the way she looked.

"Y/n, it's okay, I'm here, tell me, please?" I pleaded.

She looked up at me in fear. "Scars," she admitted, with tears slowly coming out. "Back in Minnesota, I was bullied so much, I was told to kill myself, to leave, to never come back. My life was defined as shit. I didn't know what to do, if I told on them then they would threaten me. I decided to cut myself," she statted. She began to cry harder. I felt terrible for her.  I stepped closer to her and hugged her tightly, she placed her head at my chest. We stayed in that position until her crying slowed down.  I wiped away the tears from her face with my thumbs, and kissed the top of her head.

"It's okay y/n, I'm here and I'm not letting anyone hurt you. I love you," I said trying to calm her down.

We moved from our position and ran into the water.  We laughed, and splashed eachother then decided to walk along the shore.  Y/n began to run ahead of me yelling, "catch me if you can!" so there I went. I ran and grabbed her off the ground and began to carry her.  I carried her back to the picnic where we began to eat. Wow, y/n's just prettier than the sunset.

We cleaned up, changed, and walked back to the car, holding hands.  I walked back to my house after dropping off y/n so she could shower and stuff.
