"Here we are. Aren't you excited!?" mom happily said as she pulled over.

"Yeah. Sure," I answered.

Getting out of the car mom said, "y/n, good luck."

I walked around trying to figure out where my classes are located before the bell rang.  This high school had lots of people. And obviously there were the cheerleaders, jocks, geeks, and other types of groups.  I began to walk around and passing through different crowds.

As I walked through the halls, someone move their foot up,  and caused me to trip and fall.  Although, I kinda landed on someone. A guy. He looked cute and pretty damn hot. His eyes had something that attracted me.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to-" I stopped as he cut me off.

"-no problem, your fine." he began to laugh a little. As I started to giggle.  "Hi I'm Jack but some people call me Gilinsky, and you are?" Jack, the name just seemed to fit perfectly for him.

"I'm y/n, nice to meet you."  I answered, and it was really nice meeting him.

"Whats your last name?" he asked.

"y/l/n."

"Wow y/n y/l/n, what a beautiful name for a beautiful girl," he said smiling. He put a smile right on my face.

Could he be?  No,  he couldn't. Is he...flirting with me? Now that I've thought of it I don't know what to do.  I've never dated and no one has had a crush on me.  I don't have any experience at all.  What do I do?!

"Hi babe!" said some girl who came up to him with a hug.  Oh my fucking god.  Babe?  Of course he has a girlfriend I mean look at him.  And why the fuck would he flirt with me?  I'm just a nothing.

"Katelynn, stop please not right now, ugh." Said Jack.   The girl 'Katelynn,' left and took a heavy breath before she nodded and walked away.

"Babe?  So you have a girlfriend, huh?" I asked feeling nervous.

"Who Katelynn?  Oh hell nah.  She's just my ex.  I broke up with her, she was too ratchet.  She just pretends that we're dating but I usually just push her aside," answered Jack.

"So your single?" I hoped that question didn't sound too desperate.

"Yeah, single." He said.

Single.  Single.  SINGLE.  The word just would stop repeating in my mind.  My thoughts were inturupted when the bell rang meaning first period.
