The Burglary

A/N: I was watching Edward Scissorhands again & I noticed that it's not Danny, it's Denny. Although it sounds like Danny. Sorry guys. Enjoy this chapter though.

Y/n's P.O.V.

"But that's breaking & entering!" I said yelling at Jim as Kim, Jim, & I were walking home from school. "Look Y/n, my parents have insurance up the rear, okay? What'll cost them? A little hassle? That's about it. A week & my dad will have a new & better everything." Jim said. I rolled my eyes as Jim continued on with his plan. 

"We can't." Kim said. "Look, there's a guy who'll give us cash for this stuff." Jim said. "Jim, we don't want to." Kim & I said. "What? Kim, you don't want us to have our own van like Danny's where we can be ourselves whenever we like, huh? With a mattress in the back?" Jim pressured Kim. "Jim, leave her alone." I said. Jim ignored me & looked at Kim again. "Well, why can't you just do it?" Kim asked.

"Because my father keeps the damn room locked. We need Edward to get us in." Jim said. "No way, we cannot do that. Besides, can't you take the key, like when he's sleeping or something?" I asked. "Look, you both don't understand. The only thing he hangs on to tighter is his dick." Jim said.  "Just like you, huh?" I retorted.

Jim looked at me like he wanted to hit me. I wished he would hit me in front of Kim, I would fuck him up myself. Kim sighed. "Come on, Kim. Y/n, you know razor blades would do anything for you." Jim said. I stopped for a second & tried to deny it. "What do you mean? That's not true." I said. "Oh yeah, why don't you ask him?" Jim said.

"That's not fair." I said hurt. "What's fair got to do with it? There isn't any other way." Jim said snarkily. "There's gotta be." Kim said defending me. "Look, I've wracked my brain. Don't you want us to have our own van?" Jim asked Kim holding her by her shoulder. "Yeah." Kim hesitated to say. "Kim, no." I said walking away.

Later that night...

I came with everybody after I found out that Edward was going because Kim asked instead of me. The door to the van opened & I got out with a disappointed look on my face. "Jim, the lights are on." Kim said. "No, no. Those go on automatically. They're gone for the weekend. I told you." Jim said. "That's right, in case of burglars." Denny said grabbing a flashlight. "You turned off the alarm, right?" Kim asked. "Yeah, what do you think?" Jim said. "Edward, why are you doing this?" I asked. Edward opened his mouth to answer but Jim signaled him to come on & Edward left.

"I hate this. I can't believe this is happening." I said as I walked behind them. "Are you sure he doesn't know this is Jim's house." Karen asked. "He's never been here." Kim said. "Stupid bitch." I whispered. "This person stole from you?" Edward said a little too loud. Edward & Jim came behind us & pushed Edward to the front so he could open the door.

Edward opened the door & we all went in, me entering the house last. We all went to Jim's father's saferoom where he kept all his things. After Edward walked in, the door shut automatically & locked. "That bastard must have had it wired separately, come on!" Jim said as I tried to open the door. 

"No, Jim!" Kim said as she stood behind me. "We can't just leave him here!" I said as I still tried to open the door. "Come on!" Jim said. He lifted me on his shoulder & dragged Kim by her hand & ran outside to Denny's van. Kim let go of Jim's hand & tried to run back. "No, I can't do this." Kim said. "Jim, let me go." I said hitting his back. "Come on, Kim." Jim grabbed her again & continued to run. "Stop!" Kim protested but Jim still wouldn't let go.

Jim put both of us in the van & Danny drove away as we heard the cop's sirens coming towards Jim's house. "Denny, turn around." I said. "No way." Denny said. "Jim, it's your house. They can't arrest you for setting off the alarm in your own house." Kim said. "Kim's right. We'll just tell them that we freaked & we ran!" I said. "I'm not going back there, okay?" Jim said. "We have to go back!" I yelled at him. "NO! Because my father would prosecute!" Jim said back.

"His own son?!" Kim & I said. "Especially his own son. If Edward tells, I'll kill him." Jim said. "If you touch him, I swear I will kill you myself." I said. "Denny, turn around." Kim said. "No!" Jim said. "TURN AROUND!" I said. "NO!" Jim yelled. "YOU HAVE TO!" I yelled back. Everyone stayed quiet after that as Denny kept driving & tears streamed down my face for tonight, Kim, myself, my family when they found out, & for Edward.
