Epilogue

Kim's P.O.V.

"She never saw them again. Not after that night." Kim said. "How do you know?" Kim's granddaughter asked her. Kim took off her glasses & told her granddaughter, "Because I was there." She explained. "You could have gone up there. You still could go." My granddaughter said. "No, sweetheart. I'm an old woman now. I would rather he remember me the way I was. At least, he has Y/n." I said.

"What was she like?" My granddaughter asked me. "She is a lot like you. I only saw her a couple of years ago. I have a letter I have kept from her a couple of years ago." I got up from my chair to grab Y/n's letter from a box where I kept almost everything from our childhood. I grabbed it & sat back in my chair as my granddaughter still looked at me. "What does it say?" My granddaughter asked.

"It says; Dear Kim, It has been many years since we last saw each other & I am living the best life with Edward still. I still feel like a princess after many years with him, better yet; a queen like out of a fairytale. I'm coming to visit soon, should I bring Edward? I know it's been a while since you've seen him as well. We have a family of our own as well. Sadly, Edward has decided to become completely normal, hands and all. I still love him, throughout all of his decisions. The only reason why he did what he did was because of our son, Moon. He doesn't want to cut him, even when I told him he wouldn't." I sniffled a little as Y/n's letter made me a little more emotional since the last time I read it.

"Grandma, are you okay?" My granddaughter asked me. "I'm fine." I said as I started to continue reading Y/n's letter. "We'll be coming down soon for a visit. I cannot wait to see you & for you to see your nephew. I also can't wait to see the family as well. Hopefully, not everyone still lives in the neighborhood. I wouldn't want Moon to be around those horrible people who were rude to Edward when he first came to town. But, enough about that. I love and miss you Kimmy, Edward misses you too; he always says he misses his 2nd best friend. I'll keep in contact as always; Love, Y/n/n." I finished.

"That was beautiful, grandma. How do you know he's still alive along with Y/n?" My granddaughter said to me. "I don't know, not for sure. But I believe they are. You see, before he came down here, it never snowed. And afterwards, it did. If they weren't up there now, I don't think it would be snowing. Sometimes, you can still catch us dancing in it." I said as I imagined Y/n & I dancing in the snow Edward made for us when we were younger.  

"Goodnight, sweetheart." I kissed my granddaughter on her head & left the room. "Hello, Kimmy." I heard Y/n say. "Hello, Y/n/n." I said hugging her. "How is she?" Y/n asked me. "She's so much like you. How are things with Edward & Moon?" I asked. "You can ask them yourself." Y/n said as she moved out of the way for me to hug them & give Moon millions of kisses all over his face. "Hi, Aunt Kim." Moon said. "Let's have some fun." Y/n said as we enjoyed the rest of our lives together.
