The Castle

Y/n's P.O.V.

Kim & I ran towards the castle, ahead of the rest of the neighborhood who were coming. "Come on, Kim. We're almost to the door." I said. "Sorry, these are just really interesting. It's amazing how Edward can do this." Kim said. I opened the door & ran inside all the way to the top of the stairs where Kim & I found Edward. "They're coming?" Edward asked. I nodded as Kim looked out the window.

"Did I hurt Kevin?" Edward asked again. "No, he's okay. Mostly he was just scared." Kim said. "Edward, I was so afraid. I thought you were dead." I said. I leaned in to kiss him again but Jim came in with a gun. "I didn't." Jim said as he took a shot towards us. I moved Kim & I out of the way to avoid getting killed. "Edward!" I said looking as he moved out of the way as well.

Jim came closer & went to shoot him again. "No!" I said moving Jim's arm. It got worse when Edward got hit in the head by some of the ceiling. Jim pushed me out of the way & Kim went to punch him, when Jim slapped her down. "Y/n!" Kim said. "I'm okay." I said back. Jim started to hit Edward, when I got behind him & knocked Jim down with a piece of wood.

"No!" Kim said. "Stop it, or I swear to god, I'll kill you myself." I said threatening Jim holding Edward's blades towards him. "Bullshit!" Jim said as he slapped me this time & kicked me away. Edward got up once again to see if I was okay. "Hey, I said stay away from her!" Jim said coming to hit Edward again. But, Edward stabbed Jim in his abdomen & moved him to the window letting Jim fall to his death.

Kim & I ran towards the window looking down with Edward at Jim's dead corpse. "My nightmare is finally over." I said. Kim looked out the window after hearing the neighborhood who was coming. I looked at Edward sadly not wanting to leave him. "Goodbye." Edward said. "No, I'm not leaving you." I said. Edward just stared into my eyes as I was pleading not to let him go. I kissed him again. "I love you. I'll come back to you, I promise." I said. 

Edward look as Kim & I ran to protect Edward from anyone coming inside. Kim saw a pair of blades & grabbed them as we ran outside to tell the neighborhood our lie. "Is he in there?" A man asked us. "He's dead. The roof caved in on him." Kim said. "They killed each other. You can see for yourselves." I said next. "See?" Kim & I said as Kim held the blades up & I cried on her shoulder. We got sad looks from everyone. "I'm going home." I heard Helen say.

Joyce waited to leave until her husband called for her. Kim finally put the blades down as everyone left & I looked back up. "I have to be there for him." I said to Kim. "You know we'll miss you. I definitely will." Kim said. "I know, but this is something I have to do for me." I told her. Kim nodded as she tried not to cry. "Promise me, you'll write to me, Kevin, mom, and Dad every day. So, we can know that you & Edward are okay." Kim said. "I will, I promise." Kim & I hugged one last time. "I love you, Kimmy." I said. "I love you more, Y/n/n." Kim said. "Impossible." I said.

Kim ran off as I watched her leave from the castle.
