As you laid down on your couch watching television, you get a notification on your phone. You lean over on the coffee table and reached for your phone. You unlock it and saw that Childe had texted you.
"Hey, are you free rn?"
You sit up on the couch, fixing your position and text him back.
"Yeah, what's up?"
Seconds later, he replies back.
"I wanted to take you out again. Ik the time and day is cutting it short."
"No no, you're good. I don't mind going :)"
"Great! Be ready in like an hour, I'll come pick you up."
"Should I dress fancy? Are we going to dinner?"
Considering the time, you assumed he wanted to take you out to dinner again.
"Just however you'd like, and you'll see ;)"
You crack a smile at his reply. You set your phone down and started getting ready. Since you didn't know where he was taking you, you decided to go with a simple and cute outfit. You fixed your hair a bit and decided to do a no makeup-makeup look. Once you were finished, you headed on back to the couch and continued watching the show.

About thirty minutes had gone by and you get another text from Childe.
"I'm outside whenever you're ready."
"Alright, I'm coming out."
You grabbed your purse and keys and headed on out. You spot his car right out front and walked over to it. You come to a stop by the passengers door and gave it a little knock. He looks up and unlocks the door for you. You get on in and he compliments you.
"Wow." He says. "You look amazing as always."
He gently grabs your chin and leans you in for a peak on the cheek. You smile and reciprocate the compliment.
"Thank you. You look really good yourself."
He wore plain navy blue jeans and a cleaned ironed shirt. You noticed he wore a gold chain around his neck, along with a new watch.
"Ooo! This looks so good on you. And the watch, where'd you get it from?"
"There's a shop near my house and they had a good deal going on. As for the chain, my father gave it to me as a gift. He told me only to where it on special occasions as it would bring me good luck."
"Awe that's so nice. And so where is this special occasion happening?"
"Buckle up and you'll see."
You follow his instructions and he sets off.

It was rather a long drive but you didn't mind it. Throughout the ride, Childe and you talked more about your hobbies, music choices, friends and family. It was a nice conversation and you felt like you got to know him more.
He pulls up to a dock full with boats. There were string lights hanging around each corner of the boats, you heard music all around and as you walked further in, you saw rose petals scattered around the boat and lights beaming all around it. You felt the calm cool breeze that kept hitting your skin and the smell of sea water that filled your nose. You feel Childe grab your hand and he walks over to the boat filled with lights.
