I didn't wanna go to dinner.
I wanted to stay home with my lovely girlfriend and binge watch movies together and later on, let the movies watch us as I eat her out.
That's all I really wanted.
But she and her friends took the time and made this dinner thing for me. To meet me. I wasn't exactly thrilled but I was curious to see and know this "Zhongli" person. I mean, what relationship do they actually have together? Not to say my girl is cheating but I don't trust this guy for a second.
We walk to the table and I see her other two friends I've met before. Xiangling and Xinyan. Xiangling was a happy to see me but as for Xinyan, it was the same old cold expression. I shake her hand, maintaining distance as to not over step. We all say our greetings and that's when I saw him.
Zhongli.
He was a tall man, with a rat tail for a pony tail and the ends of his hair where gold. He had fair skin and sharp eyes. He wore a suit and tie with a gold watch on his wrist. I could tell he was a business person and not cause of what Y/N told me. One look at him and you could tell right away he worked in some type of office. His shoes were polished clean as it reflect from the light.
He looked up and saw Y/N and I. He comes around the side of the table and hugs Y/N.
Oh how I could strangle him. I could rip the skin off his finger tips so he wouldn't touch her again.
He turns to look at me and greet me. I shake the thought off and put on a smile.
"Hello, my name is Zhongli."
He reaches his hand out and as I grab it and say,
"Nice to meet you. I'm Childe."
We shake firmly but not enough to brake one another's hand. We take a seat at the table when we realized that one seat wasn't filled up yet.
"Who else is coming?" Y/N asked.
"Hu Tao, but she said she would be late."
I could feel a presence behind me and slowly turn my eye. The girl behind puts her index finger near her mouth, indicating for me to stay quiet. This girl behind Y/N was most likely Hu Tao.
"Oh my gosh! I haven't seen her in so long. I hope she's doing okay."
"Why don't you ask her yourself?"
He looks up behind her and that's when she turns to find Hu Tao standing right behind her.
"You're no fun. I was trying to scare her."
Y/N jumps up from her seat and hug this Hu Tao person. She was dressed in red from head to toe but the only thing that wasn't red was her jewelry, which were gold, and her lipstick. Just a plain nude shade. She looks at me and smiles.
"And whose this handsome fella?"
Her smile disgusts me. The way I look at her, she's like a cockroach that you can't get rid of. But I can't show my true expression so I suck it up and smile back.
"I'm Childe, Y/N's boyfriend. It's nice to meet you."
"Well it's a pleasure to meet you Childe. And I missed you guys so much!"
She takes a seat beside me. Basically, I'm in the middle of a cockroach and my beautiful lady. And in front of me, is my opponent.
"Tell us everything!"
Hu Tao proceeds to explain her adventures of traveling. The food, the scenery, the plays and poetics she's met. She showed pictures of the places and talked about the people she's met as well. I wasn't interested in the slightest but in order to make this whole thing work, I have to act the part. I mention my home town in Russia and asked if she's been there.
