"It's so simple. Rebirth."
Isaac began typing his E-mail to his friend, glancing down at his journals. Inside these journals, he wrote down a theory. Rebirth.
"When we die, there is no heaven or hell to go to. A soul is an undying figure. So where does it go when a body dies? Into a new body, somewhere out there in the world.."
Isaac sighed at himself, and looked out his apartment windows. The moonlight lit up the dim room, aside from the computer.
"Proof? Look all around the world. Every second hundreds die, at that same second, hundreds are reborn. However, we do get those chances where new souls are created. Or where they split into two, creating twins."
Isaac's old fingers stopped typing for a second, and closed his eyes. He took a few breaths, and then looked at his journal. He looked back up at the computer after reading a journal passage.
"What creates soul, however? What is a soul, and what directs it to another body? The universe controls everything. Soul has invisible mass, and is lured into a body by the universe. Soul never dies, we never die. We only pass on."
Isaac sighed once more.
"Buddhism is a similar idea. I am not creating a new religious idea, I am merely enforcing it as a true religion. And to truly enforce it. . . I must prove it. I have written my whole life in a journal, so that if my reborn self ever finds them, he can hopefully remember. I remember you being interested in Buddhism and Rebirth. I wrote down the pieces of life you have ever told me. It's in broken parts. . . but if your Reborn self finds it, hopefully they can remember."
Isaac stopped his typing, and pressed enter. Isaac stood up, and then walked out his apartment door. He made his way to the stairs, closing his wrinkly eyes. Isaac's age was catching on to him, wrinkles growing on his face.
Isaac made it downstairs to the apartment lobby, and saw the darkness within. The emptiness. He sat on the couch and looked down at himself. "Alright. . . alright. I have to do this. To prove it." Isaac said to himself.
Isaac bowed his head down, and then slowly stood up. He walked out the apartments, and stood in the middle of the street. Thunder crackled, followed by the flash of lightening. Rain began pouring down on the dark streets.
Isaac sat down, crossing his legs. He lowered straight up the street, waiting for the car to kill him. Minutes passed, but it felt like hours. All Isaac heard was the sound of the rain hitting the floor, the echo of laughter coming from the apartments.
He sighed, and then looked over his shoulder. No one.
When Isaac turned back around, bright lights were in his eyes. He closed his eyes, and then let the car hit. He didn't feel the pressure, as the car drove over him. Isaac's body tumbled underneath the tires, crushing the life out of him.
The car stopped, and exited out was a man with a coat. He ran towards Isaac's dead body, and checked if he was okay. Isaac was obviously dead at this point.
