Chapter 5

"You said four in the morning!" Angie yelled, kicking Andy. Andy opened his eyes, still tired. Angie kicked him again, not hard enough to hurt that bad.

"Now get up. . .you're three hours late for your sleep!"

Andy quickly got off the floor. Angie picked up the pillow he was laying on and groaned, "You drooled on this! Oh gosh. . ."

Andy looked at the pillow and sighed, "Sorry."

Angie carried the pillow over to the next room, probably her bedroom. Andy stretched, and yawned. His eyes were very heavy, just another hour of sleep would help. Yet, there was no time.

In fact, there was nowhere to even go from this point. Except for maybe back at the apartments, but the path back would be dangerous.

"Huh?! You're still here?! I thought you'd be gone by now!" Angie nagged, walking back into the room.

Andy looked at her and sighed. He rubbed his face and replied, "About that. . .I can show you proof that this is all true. I just need to get back to my apartment. However, I don't have a car to get there and come back. How about you lend me a ride to my apartments?"

Angie gave a nasty face to Andy. "Is this your plan to murder me? Lead me to an open field and just kill me?!"

Andy shook his head and replied, "No! Listen. . .it's just too dangerous for me to travel on foot. A ride would really just help."

The world suddenly turned red. Time seemed to slow down, as Angie moved her mouth in a very slow-pace. Andy was moving in regular speed, looking around the world around him. "Not again. . .no, please."

Andy looked back at Angie, and saw several bullets in her head. Max stood behind her, with a big grin. His hand was on her shoulder, gripping tight onto her. Max pulled his revolver to the back of Angie's head, and then pulled the trigger.

Andy blinked, and the world was back to normal. "I don't care if-" Angie began, before Andy leaped on her and dropped her to the ground. "What the?!" Angie screamed.

Bullets flew in the house, breaking through the windows. They landed on the walls, bursting holes in them. Andy rolled off Angie, and looked around the living room.

"Let's get to the couch, and use that for quick protection!" Andy said, running behind the couch. Angie was shocked, too paralyzed to move.

Andy hid behind the couch, and looked over to Angie.

"If you want to live, get the hell over here!" Andy barked at Angie, going back into cover.

Angie stood up quickly, and practically dived begin the couch. The bullets were still flying, hitting the walls and the couch.

After two minutes of non-stop fire, the bullets stop. Andy heard whispers of many men outside the door. Angie was breathing heavily, very scared.

Andy peeked his head up from the couch, and managed to see through the window.

The Men of God were back, with Max now reloading his golden revolver. Max began to approach the house, still loading the bullets into his revolver.

Andy ducked back into cover and whispered to Angie, "We need to get out of here. . .Angie. Sneak into the kitchen and exit out a back door. I'll be with you soon. . .if someone comes near you, just try to hide."

Angie took a few deep breaths, before crawling towards the kitchen. She was very scared, her whole body trembling. She looked at the walls, and saw the pictures of her mother were now torn to shreds by bullets.
