Chapter 3

"Hello?" Andy asked confused.

"Yes. . .there were reports of a 'crazy' man running into these apartments and entering your room?" One of the policemen said.

"Um. . .mind telling me your names?"

The officer on the right pointed to his friend and said, "Bruce, and I am Larry."

Andy began to think if the policemen could help him find Alexandra.

"Well. . .a crazy man? What makes this man crazy?" Andy asked.

Bruce spoke up, "He almost got hit with a car. Ahem. . .is this man you?"

Andy nodded, and then said, "I can assure you it was just a mistake."

Larry looked down at Andy and chuckled, "There were also reports of you uh. . .begging for Angels to stop something? See. . .i'm a Christian myself. Yet, I see no reason why Angels would want you for anything."

Andy shook his head and sighed, "Listen. . .uh. . .I just need help. Can you help me find a lady called Alexandra Snow?'

Bruce laughed, "Why in the world would we help you? Why do you want to meet this lady?"

Andy looked down and decided to confess. "I. . .I am a reborn man. I died twenty years ago! My name was Isaac Jefferson, but now it is Andy Über! I need to find Alexadra Snow so I can let her know that my theory worked!"

Bruce and Larry exchanged looks, and began to crack up. Bruce took out handcuffs and laughed, "Yeah, yeah. . .now come on, we're taking you to prison."

Andy backed up, and looked around the room for evidence. He found nothing to help him. Bruce stepped into the room, the hand cuffs ready. Andy sighed, and looked up at Bruce.

Andy rammed himself into Bruce, pushing him into the hallway wall. Larry reached for his gun, but Andy threw a punch as hard as he could at Larry's jaw. The man's jaw was metal hard, nearly breaking Andy's fist. However, Larry fell to the ground from the blow.

Andy ran towards the elevator, seeing a man walking into it. Andy basically dived into the elevator just before it closed. He backed up against the elevator wall and bent over. Sweat was already pouring down his face, and his breathing grew heavier. He looked to his right and saw the man staring at him.

The first thing Andy noticed on the man was the black cross tattooed on the man's forehead. The man had a five o' clock shadow beard, and short black hair. His eyes were green, and there was a scar on his left cheekbone. For a hot summer day, he was wearing a dark business suit with a red tie.

Andy looked away from him, and down at himself.

"Tough day, huh?" The man asked.

Andy nodded and managed to say, "Yeah. . .this is going to the lobby?"

Before the man could speak, the elevator doors opened. Andy darted out of the elevator, and bursted through the door.

The man watched Andy, and smiled. He stepped out of the elevator, fixing his tie. Mary was standing behind the counter and asked, "What was that all about?"

The man chuckled, "Just a bad day. . .a very bad day."

Andy ran a few blocks, before wearing out. He stopped by a liquor store, and began to pant. He rubbed his face in stress.

Cars were passing by in high speeds, and people were walking by very fast. It felt as if the world was spinning quickly around him, spinning without him.
