Forced to take a single step back, August then further enhanced the blood gauntlet on his arms as he then begun drilling attacks towards Kanzaki at a rapid pace. At the same time, Kanzaki swung his sword towards August in an attempt to clash his sword unto his gauntlet and cancel each other out through force alone.
With fist after fist connecting again and again to the swings of the sword, August rapid punches connected multiple times with Kanzaki's sword slashes with no sign between them of ever backing down or taking a step backward. It was like a battle of will between them, the first one who takes a step back would be done in this situation as his momentum would break and gave leeway to the person in advantage a chance to deliver a powerful blow.
With that in line, both of them didn't back away as their attacks gets faster and faster as time goes by, without even giving each other a single breather in this continuous clash.
In that moment at their 50th clash, August gave out a roar as his delivered a blow with all his strength, as Kanzaki seriously swung his sword towards the approaching fist with an enhanced strength, which caused a shockwave to occur and blow back both of their arms away and made both of them take a single step back.
Once they got blown back and they realized their state, both of them simultaneously regained their posture in a blink of an eye, as both of them powered up their fist and sword and exchanged blows once more. This time however, the shockwave was so great that it caused the ground beneath them to cave in from the collision of attacks, which caused an explosion to rung out and blow each other away by a few feet
As August used the claws in his gauntlet to anchor himself unto the ground the moment he got blown away in all four, he then forced his muscles to resist the backlash from getting blowback as he crouched down to the ground like a wild animal, and charged ahead towards Kanzaki in an incredible speed.
At the same time, Kanzaki saw the approach that August has made in the near future using his foresight, as he quickly planted his sword (Fafnir) unto the ground to anchor himself and conjured a black and white flame in his sword before raising the sword up above his head with both hands and slashing it down towards August direction.
Seeing the tower of flames blowing away the smoke in between them, and its sudden descent towards him, August then gathered his blood mana unto his left gauntlet as he enhanced his strength in his left arm and conjured a blood drill out of the blood encircling his left blood gauntlet.
Using that blood drill he then used such technique to clash against the tower of flames that Kanzaki had conjured as both attacks collided against one another and caused another explosion to rung out followed by a thick smoke and destroyed debris flying all over the place.
While the smoke was obscuring everyone's vision, Kanzaki quickly retreated to an open area where he could have a clear view of his surroundings, as his foresight suddenly kicks in and saw an attack incoming from the smoke in all three directions. Following what he saw, he then used another chaos ability which enhances his speed as he saw blood tentacle claws comes out of the smoke and lounged towards him like a spear.
Using his speed, he then dodged all the surprise attacks coming his way as he jumped and ran up to the walls while using his lightning chaos ability along his foot in order to reenact a forced magnetism of his foot towards the wall through the use of kinetic energy.
Of course as he ran up the wall, the blood claws followed after him , as he quickly increased his speed to out run the claws and appeared way above the smoke clouds itself. Using his chaos ability of accuracy and foresight, he pinpointed August exact location within the smoke as he gathered white flames into his sword and copied one of Ryuuji's sword skills, which emits a solar laser like blast towards the enemy in a straight line.
As he sent out a solar laser towards august from above, the latter himself quickly created a blood shield above him, as he suddenly realized that the attack itself has enough piercing power to penetrate through his defenses upon seeing that his shield was being melted through by its heat. Realizing that, August then quickly jumped and rolled to the side, as he quickly looked back and saw the laser crashed to his previous spot and literally blow and melted everything around its close proximity.
Not wasting time on figuring out how is that possible, August then throws in a hundred blood claws coming out from his back towards Kanzaki as the claws themselves closed in towards its target. Seeing the counter, Kanzaki quickly used his sword to block the attack on the front as he conjured aegis on his back as he protected his spine from the wall that he crashed his back unto from the force of the attack itself.
After successfully defending himself form that initial contact , he then quickly slashed unto the wall beside him, as he ran in quick in order to dodge the other incoming attacks from August, as he ran up along the building trying his best to out maneuver the blood claws. but as if the claws itself has a life of its own, it actually followed him no matter where he goes and even pierce through walls just to get through towards him. Because of that Kanzaki can't even get a a breather as sweat ran down along his face from having his body heavily exhausted in this point in time.
Left with no choice to even use the buildings as cover from August attacks, he then jumped out of the window in an attempt to surprise August by his sudden maneuver. However the moment he jumped out from the 20th floor of the building, August then begun sniping him down from the ground using blood bullets leaving Kanzaki nowhere to escape and receive all the attack head on with his own body.
At last August attack's had connected with one another, as Kanzaki fell down from a high place and crashed to the ground fully injured from that surprising attack. However before August could celebrate further from that successful attempt, Kanzaki had suddenly raised aegis to cover all over his body and had its property heal his wounds from all the injury he had received from August.
Upon seeing that Kanzaki's wound was slowly being healed from their confrontation, August then couldn't help but get angry from this situation as he felt that such an act was a slap to his face and a total disrespect towards him. Due to that he couldn't help but grit his teeth as he glared towards Kanzaki
