[Polar Dormitory]
Later that night, when everyone finally went back into the dormitory, Kanzaki was currently on the roof with his weapon laid out on the floor, as he examined it multiple times with his chaos eyes itself. As one may know chaos eyes the sole gate for the ability that agents use to fight the chaos being, is highly sensitive to mana, due to being mutated and transformed by the blood of a chaos being.
Even though it is still a mystery on how can a simple blood could give an ordinary person a power to fight monsters, various researchers simply concluded it as something inherent to the DNA being overwritten by a foreign DNA. However if we follow that kind of logic, then anyone who comes into contact with a chaos being should have awaken some abilities, after all in this world, there are about a total of 600,000,000 humans left alive, far in comparison to its former 8.1 billion population.
Unfortunately from the remaining humans only a total of 500,000 humans who had contact with a chaos being have awakened such ability, for the rest who made contact with the foreign invaders, they all simply stayed as ordinary civilians. Thus making the foregone conclusion flawed as it can possibly get.
Now going back to the topic at hand, by utilizing his eyes, Kanzaki canclearly see two different type of mana colliding against each other in an attempt to gain more territory inside the swords core. It was as if this two mana itself who had some type of intelligence are agaisnt each other. For the scientist they call this spirit or soul, for the chaos users all they see are a sentient mana which has a will of its own.
Upon seeing the violent mana within his swords core, Kanzaki then stressed out for a bit as he gave out a huge sigh and asked himself.
"This things not blow up on me right? From just the looks of it, I feel like it could explode at any moment"
After muttering that to himself, he then looked up into the sky as he remembered how he struggled against strong enemy with just fafnir alone. Having another type of sentient mana injected into his weapon could potentially increase his overall power, but at the same time, it could also be a double edged sword that could also kill him. He just doesn't know what to do about the rampaging mana inside his sword.
Alongside it he is quite hesitant to even call out the flaws of his newly upgraded weapon, after all based on rumors, the scientist of the weapon development have so much pride that they insisted that their works are perfect and no room for flaws, since he felt that he might antagonize the weapon department if he voiced out his complaint alongside his low position in the organization, he then held his head feeling stressed as he ponders on what to do.
"I hope that this won't come back to bite me someday"

[Adolphus Island]
Located on an island near Australia where it was once a tourist destination, lay one of the unhibitated island of Australia, the Adolphus island. Adolphus Island is an uninhabited island located in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. It is situated in Cambridge Gulf approximately 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Wyndham and covers an area of about 4,157 hectares (10,272 acres). The island has a maximum height of approximately 770 feet (235 m).
The island, the gulf and many other features surrounding the gulf were named by Philip Parker King who visited the area in 1819 aboard the survey cutter HMS Mermaid but left after spending eleven days charting the gulf, being unable to find supplies of freshwater in the mudflats, rivers and hills that surround the Cambridge Gulf. King named the island after the Duke of Cambridge at the time, Prince Adolphus.
The island is home to endangered flora such as Brachychiton incanus and a variety of birdlife such as rufous night heron, little eagle, brown falcon, whimbrel, tawny frogmouth, great bowerbird and rainbow bee-eater. The agile wallaby is commonly sighted on the island.
This time with the fact that Australia has fallen on the first apocalypse, the Sentinels who wrecked havoc in Bouvet Island, is currently using Adolphus island as the temporary base in order to get off the grid of the organization who felt threatened by their existence. While stayed hidden, they sent out Nueve who specializes in infiltration to gather information in the strongest stronghold in this world and bring such information to them. Once they got the gist on how strong this world is, it will then be time for them to wreak havoc once more and enact the second apocalypse which will wipe out its inhabitants.
They don't gave the aloof for world domination nor the destruction of this world, but rather what they want was to transform this world into a place suitable for them and to do that, they will need to remake the world into their liking back to genesis. Before the apocalypse they have sent various scouts into the world through a rift formed everytime the moon, sun, and earth aligns. The people they sent to this world became folklore and urban legends due to their paranormal abilities. By conducting a near thousand years investigation, they found out the tendencies of human in war for greed, lust, pride, envy, wrath, sloth, and gluttony. Due to that they concludes that coexistence was impossible.
The way their conclusion can be verified due to some spies infiltrating the government and important positions of this world for a thousands years, aside from being an urban legend and folklore. With it the verification for humans ugly side was confirmed. Once that confirmation was given, the first apocalypse then happened which took out nearly all the populations of humanity.
In this moment Nueve entered the cave that they were using as a base in Adolphus island as he was quickly in the presence of the rest of the Sentinels. Aside from the traitor of their kind which is Argie, Nueve focused his attention to the rest of the Sentinels as he gave his full detailed report.
Once everything was given out to them, Uno then slowly stood up from his seat, as he looked at the other members and said.
"Time for the second apocalypse, our primary target is the annihilation of the organization"
