"Are you ready, Y/n?"
"Of course I'm ready, Draco. Why wouldn't I be?"
"Well you look nervous. Plus, you get antsy over everything," He adds on, crossing his arms over his chest. "Also, you've been looking forward to going to Hogwarts since we were little kids."
"Yes, but that doesn't mean I'm antsy."
"Both of you, quiet please." Narcissa interrupts us.
"Yes mother."
"Sorry Aunt Narcissa." She's not my real aunt, but our families are close enough for me to consider her my aunt. I glance over to my father who stands next to Lucius. They both have neutral expressions before my father falters and breaks out into a smile while going to pat Lucius on the shoulder.
"Isn't this great Luce? Both of our children are going to Hogwarts together!" My father exclaims cheerly.
"Yes, yes," He sighs, dismissing the hand on his shoulder. "Now, didn't I tell you to stop calling me Luce?" My father responds with a grin and shrug of his shoulder, causing another sigh to slip from Lucius's lips.
"But, it is quite nostalgic that our children are going to Hogwarts together." He admits with a small smile.
"Remember the old times, when the three of us were here together for the first time?" Father chuckles with a longing smile.
"Those ever-so pleasant memories are always treasured in my heart."
"Luce has a heart? Merlin! Who are you and what have you done to my best friend?" He teases, resulting in Lucius jabbing his foot with his cane.
"Silence you imbecile!" Narcissa lets out a quiet chuckle and shakes her head lightly.
"Those two haven't changed since childhood," She reminecess. "And who knows, maybe Draco and Y/n will get married like me and Lucius did." Narcissa mutters under her breath- low enough for no one else but me to hear.
"As if I would marry Draco." I scoff, throwing a disgusted glance towards him.
"Why wouldn't you want to marry me?" Draco questions with a disbelieving expression.
"Because you're a prick."
"Excuse me?!"
I tune out the rest of his unneeded babbling as we stand waiting for the train. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a family I haven't seen before, which is strange considering the Malfoys and I know most of the wizarding families.
The family consists of a tall boy with chocolate brown skin and hair, next to him are two girls, one with short spinach green hair in a bob cut and glasses, the other with even shorter fiery-orange hair with an antenna sticking up. On the other side of them are two boys around the same height, one of them has a black hair and a... questionable hair style, and lastly- a boy with white hair that could rival the cold snow of the winter season.
The boy with white hair is pretty, or maybe it's just his eyes I find pretty. They're a lovely shade of blue, one that vie for superiority with the natural color of the sky. His skin is smooth and porcelain with an ever-so noticeable shade of pink dusted across his cheeks.
Draco seems to notice that I've tuned out his rambling as he looks over to the direction I'm staring in, and almost immediately, scrunches his face in disgust.
"Why are you staring at those disgusting mudbloods?" Ah, so that's why I didn't recognize them. They're mudbloods.
"Well, if you must know Draco, they just so happened to catch my eye. Got a problem with that?" I reply, raising an eyebrow.
