Y/n's Pov
I regain my vision for what feels like a long time and I slowly regain movement of my limbs. I groan as I get up.
"What happened???" I mumble. Not expecting a reply, I yelp when someone does answer my question.
"You were petrified." I hear a monotone voice reply. Yep, it's Ray.
"Jeez, you have to stop showing up whenever I'm in the infirmary."
"Your fault."
"How long was I petrified for?"
"For about 2-3 days."
"What? Did I miss anything? Any school work? Any events?"
"You didn't miss any assignments, Lockhart lost his memory and oh, Harry killed the basilisk."
"Did he now? And here I thought he couldn't be anymore popular, and Lockhart lost his memory, how?"
"He tried erasing Ron's memories with Ron's wand. Spell backfired on him."
"Wait, why are you still here? I thought you'd be somewhere else other than the same place we were in last year."
"Well, I don't know. Your idiotic choices got you in trouble, again. So, I wanted to see if you were alright."
"But why do you care? What happens to me isn't really of any concern to you, is it?" He looks away from me. Deja vu.
"I don't care for you," Ouch... I guess. I do kinda deserve it. "Besides, I kinda owe you since you let me borrow your books." Oh right, I almost forgot. Why did I think for even a second that he cared? Of course he wouldn't. Draco and Norman then come rushing in tackling me in a hug, which was really unexpected, because of blood status at least. They're both crying as they hug me.
"Umm, what's going on?"
"N/n! I was so worried about you!! Don't you dare put your life in danger like that again, ok?!?!" Draco yells.
"Oi! Give her some space, she just woke up!" Ray tells them off. They both just glare at him and go back to hugging me.
"Ok, let go. You're suffocating me." They both refuse to let go of me and just hold onto me tighter. Ray then levitates them across the room and dumps them on the other side of the infirmary.
Time skip to the train station
Ray's Pov
Norman finally arrives in the cart and sits down next to Emma.
"What took you so long?" I ask.
"I was just talking to L/n."
"Oh ok."
