Christmas holidays have finally ended. It was now time to meet Harry, Ron and Hermione for information on the Philosopher's Stone and here we are, in an empty classroom after classes, interrogating Harry and Ron for answers on how they got L/n to help.

"How did you get L/n, of all people, to help?" Emma questions in disbelief.

"It was difficult, we also promised her that we wouldn't tell anyone, soooo..." Ron sighs, trying his best to explain.

"Wait, is she why I found you two holding a book for the first time?" Hermione asks in shock.

"You guys read a book?!" Emma yells out.

"Yes, she was the one who got us the book to help us." Harry answers them. We all look at the two in shock. Not only did they get L/n to help them, but they also read a book??? This day just keeps on getting weirder. What's next, they're gonna tell us L/n agreed to help us more and stop Snape? Abruptly, the door opens and L/n comes in.

"Hey, are you guys done using the book yet? The librarian's looking for it and-... nevermind, I'll come back for it later." L/n sighs, about to leave the room.

"Wait! L/n can you come here for a second?" Harry asks her.

"Ummm, yeah no. I've got more important things to do than hangout with the likes of you."

"Please? Just for a second? And when we're done we'll give the book back." Harry pleads.

"And what makes you so sure that I'll do what you say, hm?"

"Just, ugh, please. This is super important." Ron groans.

"Fine, but you owe me," L/n tells them, closing the door behind her. "Now, what do you want?"

"We want your help with stopping-"

"No."

"Wait what? You didn't even hear the full thing!" Hermione exclaims.

"I already know you were going to say something about out stopping Snape, and I am not going to join you in your little investigation to fire Snape. I don't know where you got the idea that he's evil but he isn't. He's worked in Hogwarts for years while you only met him in your first year coming here, so you don't know anything about him, or his intentions. So, my answer is; no."

"But you agreed-" Harry tries to reason, but quickly gets shot down by her.

"To help you get information, NOT to help fire a teacher."

"We're not going to fire him per say, just making sure he isn't doing anything sus." Emma explains cautiously to L/n, causing her to tilt her head in confusion.

"Sus? What's that?" She sounds genuinely confused at what Emma said. I run my hand down my face and send a scowl towards Emma.

"Seriously? Sus? That's what you say to her? Not something that she can easily comprehend?"

"I feel mildly insulted by that." L/n scoffs, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Shut up, I wasn't talking to you." She rolls her eyes at me and mutters under her breath.

"Rude much." Norman glares subtly at me. I just ignore him. Norman sighs exasperatedly and asks if he can talk to L/n... alone.... Now that's mad sus. Norman swiftly walks out of the classroom with L/n following behind him.

Y/n's Pov

Why did he ask to talk to me alone? Were they really that desperate for my help? But why would they need my help, they all practically hate me. Well, Norman doesn't but still, they hate me. When we're away from the classroom Norman turns and faces me.

"Listen Y/n, we really need your help, and I know that you think Snape hasn't done anything bad-"

"That's because he hasn't."

"But we still need to make sure, just in case. And you're the only one we know that can even remotely help us."

"I don't even remotely agree with your guys' plan."

"I know that. And I know you don't like them. But please, do this for me?" Norman begs me. I hum in thought before he starts to do something with his eyes. What was it called again? Puppy dog eyes? Yeah, that's it, puppy dog eyes. I try my best to not give in but he wins me over.

"Ugh! Fine, just stop making that face at me." He breaks into a huge grin and hugs me. His hugs are the best. I pat his back before he lets go of the hug.

"Come on, let's go back in." Norman smiles, holding his hand out. I take it and he drags me into the classroom.

"You don't have to drag me!" I yell at him. He just laughs at me. I drop his hand when he opens the door and we walk in. Everyone turns to look at me expectantly when I step in.

"I'll help you."
