Meanwhile with Jay and Nya, they together were supposed to search the attic and around the monastery. It had been a while since the two of them were alone together. Jay would try to start small talk but immediately chicken out;It was getting awkward between them.
"Do you think Master Wu is okay? I'm really worried... He suddenly just- passed out like that! And- supposedly there's a fucking entity in the monastery aswell!?" Nya exclaimed.
The two paused in a hallway. Nya seemed very worried, confused as she tensed up, her shoulders rising. She then paused for a second, her shoulders going back down.
"I- I'm sorry Jay. I didn't really have to yell that all out." Nya chuckled slightly while saying this. Jay, wouldn't let this slide. He put his hand on Nya's back, he grew a dumb weak smile as he quietly responded.
"Hey, hey. It's fine Nya! I'm here for you whenever you need me. You don't need to apologise." Nya looked over at Jay;Jay's smile growing a the two maintained eye-contact for a good 2 seconds. Jay then sheepishly turned his head away, his face flushed.
"Jay.. thanks." Nya spoke out with a giddy voice. She had a warm smile across her face, Iay couldn't help but be a sucker for her. His facial expression seeming of one being 'Lovestruck'. Jay didn't even notice how obvious and for how long he had been staring at Nya.
"Jay? Jayy? Are you there?" Nya waved her hand infront of Jay's face. Hoping for a reaction from Jay who seemed lifeless.

Jay snapped back to reality, he shook his head as the his flushed face turn back to normal.
"Gah- shit! Sorry Nya, I was day-dreaming." Jay joked, he had a wide grin of his face, waiting for Nya to laugh. Once Nya noticed Jay had a smile, probably waiting for her to laugh, she started to laugh. In hopes to lift his spirits a bit more. Jays smile grew larger, to the point where he looked like the grinch. If the grinch had freckles and a baby face. The two, now uncontrollably laughing, didn't realise something swift by behind them, Nya slightly shivering as it went behind her. She shrugged it off, she was too focused on the person in front of her. She quickly shook her head back in reality, speaking out , "We should probably get back on task now- the others are most likely doing their set task." The two immediately stopped their giggling, Jay nodded. Both of the two lovebirds continued to wall throughout the monastery, hoping to find anything, something. Their eyes travelled everywhere, looking for something... off. Nothing. No clues. Everything in its 'place'. Nada.

Nya then stubbed her pinkie toe, letting out a soft grunt. "Ow...! What the- Stupid rock.." She angrily stared at the small rock beneath her, which somehow injured her toe. Jay was too focused on looking for anything weird that he hadn't noticed that Nya, all so suddenly, paused. She couldn't move, these thoughts.. no. These weren't her 'usual' thoughts. It was something, somebody else. 'Stupid rock, probably that rock boy's fault hey? He must've purposefully left this here! Doesn't that aggravate you?' The thoughts ran through Nya's head, her breaths becoming heavy. Now this, Jay had noticed. Looking over at Nya. He noticed how stressed she seemed, how... angry she looked. "It isn't Cole's fault! Get out of my damn head!" Nya suddenly shouted. Jay jumped back, so concerned for the love of his life. "Nya...? What do you mean," he spoke in a soft tone as he continued, "I-.. is something in your head? What is Cole's fault?!" Jay's tone becoming louder and more worried. He walked up to Nya, kissing her cheek and resting his hand on her shoulder. 'He is yelling at you right now! Attack him.. Attack him.. He thinks a small kiss on the cheek will fix everything!' The voice echoed throughout Nya's mind. But.. when Jay kissed her cheek, she felt all these angry thoughts go away. She quickly embraced him, Jay didn't hesitate to reciprocate this back. 'Yuck.' The voice from Nya's head eventually went away, fortunately.

"Jay... There was a voice in my head, I stubbed my foot on a rock and the voices.. ugh. It- it didn't feel nice. That stupid, fucking, voice kept saying how 'It's Cole's fault because there's a rock on the floor' etc, etc." Nya spoke out as she pulled away, she would open her mouth to continue but close it, biting her lip. Jay guided the front of Nya's hair slightly out of her face. 'Her eyes are so pretty...' Jay thought, once again admiring her. Nya chuckled softly, a small smirk growing on her face. "W-We should probably get back to the others once we've checked the whole place, we also still have that attic-ish place to go." Jay quickly spoke out, retracting his arms. He scratched the back of his neck slightly as he gestured to Nya to go up.
