Funny Feelings

Cole woke up, the sun shined bright on his face as he squinted his eyes. He twist and turned around in his bed as he could hear the door open. "Cole wake up, did you not get enough sleep?" A soft, calming voice spoke. Cole replied with a raspy voice, "I have the biggest headache... ever." Cole pulled his blanket over his head as the person yanked his blanket away from Cole. Cole would groan stretching his arms out as if he was reaching space. He sat up as he rubbed his eyes; as he opened them he could see spiky, brunette hair. "Damn Kai," Cole spoke, "You look like you used tons of hair gel." Cole would chuckle as Kai softly hit him on the shoulder. "Gotta keep my hair up! How else would I do it?" Kai helped Cole get up from Cole's bed as Cole headed towards the bathroom. "Go tell the others I may be a lil late" Cole suggested as Kai headed out the room to do so.

Cole shut the door as he looked at himself in the mirror. "I look like a drug addict..." Cole muttered as he turned the tap on and washed his face. He got changed out of his sleep wear and he went out of the bedroom to the training course where the others were training. Cole's head rung but he decided to ignore it as he wouldn't want to miss a day of training on something not important. "Oh hey Cole! What took you so long? We're you taking a shit?" Jay yelled as Nya giggled. "Nah, I just woke up late." Cole yelled back while rolling his eyes. Cole walked over to one of the training course equipments and started to train. Practicing to control his rock powers. He would catch a glimpse of Kai practicing to control his mental state by meditating near the entrance. Cole wondered on how someone could be so stubborn yet so perfect... 'SNAP OUT OF IT COLE' Cole's thoughts yelled. Cole shook his head trying to focus on his rock powers. Master Wu then came watching them all train. "Good posture Lloyd." Master Wu would mutter. Lloyd smiled at Master Wu as he would continue his training.
|~TIME SKIP TO 10 MINUTES LATER~|
The ninjas all rested as they had finished their morning training. Zane and Lloyd would hand out water bottles for the others to drink as they were all pretty tired. Zane handed Cole a bottle of water as Cole grabbed it. Cole felt dizzy though, almost like he would vomit if he ate or drank anything. "Yo Cole you okay?" Kai asked as he shifted to sit next to him. Cole put his hands over his head as he set his bottle of water to the side. "I don't... really know. I still have that big ass headache and it's not going." Cole responded as he squinted his eyes. Kai set his bottle to the side,next to Cole's bottle, as he put his hand on Cole's back. "Y'know if you need to rest," Kai told Cole, "You can take a rest. One day of skipping wouldn't hurt." Kai chuckled but seeing Cole's frown he stopped immediately. Cole tensed up as his fist gripped onto his hair. "N-nah..." Cole stuttered, "I'm okay.." Kai seemed distraught as he knew Cole was lying. "Is there anything you need to talk about? Or is it just you didn't get enough sleep. Perhaps your ill?" Kai rambled.

By now the others had noticed how Cole seemed off. "Hey is Cole alright?" Nya asked, worried for her friend. "U-uh.." Kai muttered. Suddenly Cole spoke up removing his hands from his head but still staring at his shoes. "I'm fine. I'm just, thinking. Yeah thinking." Kai looked at Cole worried. The others figured they needed privacy. "Do you want us to tell Master Wu or-" Zane was cut off by Cole. "I'm fine I said! I-.. sorry," Cole looked up at the others, "Don't tell Master Wu it's really not a big issue." The other ninja nodded and left, still worried for Cole. Kai stayed by Cole's side worried. Cole then got up as Kai stared at him go back to the rooms. Kai pondered if he would follow Cole or not. Kai looked over to where Cole was sitting and he noticed Cole had left the water. It wasn't opened or anything but Kai decided to give it back to Cole. 'Why do you worry sooo much about that rock dude.' A voice said inside Kai's head. "I don't care much about him, he's my friend I'm just worried. That's normal isn't it?" Kai spoke to himself. Kai's inner thoughts responded, 'Are you sure it's not beeeecause you likeeeee himmmm. Or perhaps you lovee him.' Kai's face turned red as Kai felt like he wanted to scream into a pillow.

"NO I DONT" Kai yelled as he quickly covered his mouth with his hands. Kai's mind filled up with memories off Cole and how often they would hang out. "No, no! I Like Skylar!" Kai told himself. 'You're lyingggg. Im you y'know? You liked Skylar." Kai tried to think of Skylar and how much he likes her but he couldn't, all he could think of was Cole and how worried he was for him. Kai got up and decided to go and check up on Cole.

Cole had gone into the bedroom and laid back down on his bed. It hurt. It really hurt. The ringing in his head wouldn't stop as he held onto his head. He didn't want to cry. He didn't like crying because of stupid... stupid... headaches. He'd embarrassed himself in front of Kai. What would he think? What would they all think of him. He groaned in pain as he put his hand on his forehead 'checking his temperature.'
"Ugh I'm burning up. Probably a cold." He whispered under his breath. He decided a little rest wouldn't hurt as he got into bed, dragged his blanket back onto his bed as he dozed off.

Kai knocked on the sliding door, noticing there was no response he opened it up. "Cole? You okay? I know you don't want anyone disrupting you but you forgot your water bottle and-" Kai looked over to Cole's bed. Seeing that Cole was in a deep sleep he walked up to the edge of Cole's bed. Kai left the water bottle on the side desk near Cole's bed as he stared at him. His beautiful black hair. Snap out of it Kai! Kai just couldn't though.. Cole slept so perfectly. Kai thought to himself, 'this is weird. Just watching him sleep.' Kai although hesitant left the room.
