Bathroom sequence....

Kai, Cole, and Lloyd sat there. It seemed Master Wu wouldn't wake up soon. Would he ever wake up..? Cole brushed hair out of his face, his eyes furrowing. He knew he had to stay diligent and calm, but how? The screeching of the chair beneath him could be heard as he sat up. Glancing at Kai, and Lloyd. "Hey guys? I'm going to go wash my face off." He awkwardly smiled, waving slightly and walking off. Kai quickly stood up after him, latching into his wrist. Cole could feel the sudden burn and immediately looked towards Kai. "Don't go out alone- Remember?" Kai spoke up, quickly letting go. His face slightly flushed. Cole couldn't tell whether this was from the heat or because... "Kai's right, Cole.
"You two should probably go together, I'll stay here with my grandfather." Lloyd spoke up, watching this tension. Kai and Cole obviously rejected this idea, not wanting to leave Lloyd alone. "Lloyd! That isn't- Yes I want Master Wu to stay safe, but at the same time, Cole and I can't just leave you!" Kai exclaimed, gesturing to him. "Kai is, surprisingly, correct." Cole pointed out, Kai immediately turned to Cole, protesting. Cole would let out a soft chuckle. He felt a little better. "I'm being for real though, Kai is correct Lloyd. We can't just leave you here alone- Kai- stay with Lloyd, trust me, I'll be fine." Cole added on, slightly flexing his muscles with a smirk. Kai slightly burned up, letting out a shaky exhale. His gaze easing up as he admired Cole. He then quickly snapped out of it, standing straight back up and shifting his eyes somewhere else. Cole let down his arms, crossing them across his chest; Letting out a huff he walked away. Cole wanted them to stay safe, therefore leaving the two together.
Kai tensed up, he didn't know whether to leave Lloyd with unconscious Master Wu and go with Cole, or stay. He'd slightly bite his lip, not being able to make a decision. Lloyd noticed Kai tensing up, Lloyd would chuckle slightly, gesturing for Kai to go. "It's fine Kai, I'll be fine." Lloyd spoke with a goofy tone. Kai felt this reassurance, putting a thumbs up and smiling before scurrying off. Cole had already gone so Kai had to hurry up. Kai scrambled over to Cole.

"Cole! cOoLe! Wait up-" Kai scurried, he'd finally reach Cole. Cole turned back, surprised Kai was here. "Oh, Kai- I thought you were going to stay with Lloyd?" Cole uttered, staring at Kai's dark brown eyes. "Oh, about that- uh.. Lloyd asked me to go with you- just in case!" Kai confidently appealed. Cole thought for a second, Lloyd was a caring person. "Hmmm- okay." He ventured, continuing to make his way to the bathroom. Kai followed Cole like a lost puppy, all of a sudden not knowing how to start small talk. Kai didn't know why he wanted to be alone with Cole so much right now, he didn't know why he wanted Cole to be safe. He just... did.
The two arrived to the bathroom, Kai didn't know whether to follow Cole inside or not. Cole entered, washing his face off. The cold water against his skin felt nice. He opened his eyes slightly, squinting them. He gestured over to Kai. "Don't you wanna wash your face off aswell? Your pretty hot- a- I mean- you know what I mean." He groaned, flustered. Kai knew he should be used to getting complimented, but when Cole said it.. Gosh he felt butterflies in his stomach. Not literally. "Oh- yeah I get what you mean. I know I'm hawt!" Kai replied quickly, stroking his hand through his gelled up hair;Which was quite difficult. Cole dried off his face, looking over at the fire boy. Noticing this, Cole couldn't help but let out a giggle, snorting slightly.
Kai was so head over heels for Cole..
He'd quickly pull his hand out, putting them behind his hands, leaning forward with an dramatic expression. "Whaaat? Am I not hot?"
'Why did I ask that. Why. Did. I. Ask. That. Gosh.. this is going to be so awkward.' He'd think. The rock boy was surprised by this sudden question, at loss for words. He did agree, Kai was hot. Really... But- he couldn't just say it like that! They were bros. Buds. That was all they were ever going to be.. His expression dimming down.
"Heyy, i-I- meant that as a joke you alright? It isn't like you to get...y'know.. upset." Kai rambled, worried for Cole. Kai was afraid he'd make him upset by accident. Cole snapped back into reality, quickly adding on. "Oo- Master Of Fire is so worried about poor ol' me?" Cole teased, pointing at Kai with a smug smile. Kai internally screamed, defending himself. "What!? No! I- Thank me for being generous." He defended, crossing his arms across his chest. Kai was indeed burning up, he eyed the sink Cole was near before groaning slightly. Walking towards it and washing his face off;It was indeed refreshing. The slight sizzle of the water going on Kai's skin could be heard, Kai shrugged it off. Coles mouth was agape, 'He's sizzling! Isn't that- concerning!? Do I ask him?'. Cole opened his mouth slightly wider, ready to talk. "I'm concerned.. how are your clothes not burnt off..? Not that I want to see you- agh. I made it worse." Cole babbled. Soon shutting his mouth. Kai couldn't help but snicker at Cole's remark. "My clothes are just special~ Why? Jealous?" Cole immediately tensed up, his shoulders rising. "Hell no! As if-" he scoffed, with a small smile.

Cole and Kai were ready to head back, Kai then remembered how stressed out Cole was back there... Of course- well- Master Wu was unconscious, leaving them on a cliffhanger! Also- some type of... thing? Anger? Perhaps that voice in his head... Kai brung himself back to reality, looking over at Cole. He wanted to rest his hand on Cole's shoulders to stop him, but in fear of burning him, he didn't. Kai held himself back. Staying silent as he followed after Cole to go back to the room where Lloyd was.
