CURRENTLY, yunhee was back in the castle, crying in taerae's arms.

"he might've been a very rude person but he was still human." she cried, rubbing at her eyes with her hands. she was just hoping that this was all just a bad dream, that she would wake up and moon sangwook would be in her throne room, alive and in one piece.

her breathing started to get quick and shallow the more she cried. "how did this even happen? when did this even happen? who-"

"hey, hey, yunhee. breathe with me." taerae cut her off, doing slow and deep breaths. "in for three." he said, taking a three second deep breath.

"out for five." he breathed out slowly. he did this a few more times until yunhee joined him, breathing in for three and breathing out for five.

"you're doing great, yunhee." he told her as she was taking in another breath. he kissed her forehead and wiped away her tears with his thumbs, giving her a soft smile.

"that's great, yunhee. let's do three more." he encourages, doing the last three breaths with her.

yunhee breathed out and got a soft smile from taerae.

"that was good. now let's talk it all out, okay?" he praised, giving her another kiss on the forehead. she sniffled and gave him a nod.

after they talked it out (more tears were shed), the two were sat on the floor of her room. taerae was currently cuddling the taller princess for comfort reasons.

taerae though, was especially enjoying this and he now had a one up against the other zerobase princes. he was quietly humming a song as he ran his fingers through her hair, her soft breaths warm on his neck.

"you know, you'd be a great husband..." yunhee whispered, closing her eyes.

taerae's humming came to a stop. "pardon?" he asked, not sure if he heard her right.

"hm? oh, nothing." she replied, shaking her head.

how did she just let that slip?! shit!

"oh really? I thought I heard you say something." he shrugged, slowly going back to his humming. oh he was for sure going to use this to one up the others.

before the princess completely drifted off, she gave taerae a kiss on both cheeks with a smile.

"thanks for helping me and staying with me. I really appreciate it, taerae." she told him quietly.

taerae's infamous smile appeared on his lips as he kissed her forehead, letting her head rest on his shoulder again.

"of course, yunhee. I'd do anything to help you." he smiled, humming her to sleep once she was comfortable in his arms again.
