K.YH, 3P

PRINCESS yunhee was now with her aunt. it didn't take that long to get to star kingdom as zerose kingdom, star kingdom, hottest kingdom, moon kingdom, fire kingdom, and nightless kingdom were all fairly close to each other.

she was basically surrounded by her family, which made it convenient but inconvenient at the same time. let's list the pros and the cons, shall we?

PROS:
- very easy to contact family,, especially in case of an emergency
- yunhee has people to hang out with
- they're there to protect each other
- usually no crimes
- someone to keep her in check when her parents cant
- lots of protection !

CONS:
- NEVER alone,, theres always someone who's keeping an eye out
- nothing new to talk about or catch up with each other
- conversations get boring easily,, its usually the same thing or news that everyone already knows
- no new faces,, it's the same people and it's boring
- it's just boring in general,, theres nothing interesting or new
- if she were to run away or do something, she wouldn't be able to due to the tight security

now, it's kind of evened out.

yunhee was lead into the castle, being lead into the throne room where she saw her aunt.

"hi aunty." she greeted. hae-eun smiled at her, getting up to give her a hug.

"hi dear. care to tell me what happened?" hae-eun greeted back, sitting the girl down beside her.

as hae-eun and yunhee were talking about what happened, some guards came in with a group of people.

"HAE-EUN!" daehwan cheered as she walked in.

"OH MY LORD-" hae-eun jumped. yunhee jumped as well, almost falling off her seat after.

"yunhee! I didn't know you were here." seungtae greeted, blinking at hae-eun in confusion.

"hi! what're you all doing here?" the young princess replied in confusion, giving the group of men a look.

"we could be asking you the same thing. what're you doing here and why didn't you tell us you'd be over?" daechul spoke, raising an eyebrow at his niece.

"something happened at home so I'm staying here for a few days. now, why're you all here?" she replied, furrowing her eyebrows at them.

"this is something we've started to do. we would invite your parents but they're always too busy to come." seungtae replied with a nod.

"sorry I didn't tell you she would be joining us, it was pretty last minute." hae-eun apologized with a sheepish smile.

"why did you bring yoonjae and inseong? why don't you invite me too?" yunhee frowned.

"oh! we're just here to make up for joonseo's absence. he has some prince thing going on right now but he'll be here later." yoonjae replied, walking up to her and giving her a hug.

"jung inseong, come here." the older jung called to his twelve year old brother. the boy shuffled over with no expression on his face until yunhee hugged him.

"why are you with the adults, inseongie?" she asked him, patting down his hair.

"joonseo is being annoying and is rejecting every person who wants to marry him so I left with yoonjae." inseong replied, smiling up at the princess.

"he rejects everyone, I wonder who hes waiting for." daehwan sighed.

yunhee already knows who joonseo wants. 🤭

"you know, I have so much respect to mothers who gave birth more than once." yunhee sighed.

she was laid on a bed in a room with yoonjae and inseong, inseong being sprawled on top of her with his head on her chest. she was gently removing the tangles in the small boy's hair with yoonjae laid beside her. this was her room in this castle, by the way.

"queen areum had six kids, your mother had three and so did eunkyung's. almost all my uncles and aunts have siblings too." she said.

"sometimes I wonder why people want to have more than one child. I understand wanting to have a son and a daughter but why keep trying when you don't get one or the other? having one child is already chaotic as hell, why have more?" yoonjae said, glancing at his younger brother. "I'm glad that my parents had another child after me though. I'm happy that inseong is here." he added, smiling at his brother.

inseong looked at him and gave him a weird look in return, the seven year old rolling his eyes.

"hey, inseong." yoonjae scoffed at the kid.

"you're weird and gross." inseong spoke.

jung inseong, the youngest of the nightless kingdom. he was only twelve and was really mature for his age. sometimes though, he'd say the most out of pocket and strangest things. yunhee liked to joke that he was her little psychopath and that he will look almost just like yoonjae when he grows up.

yoonjae scoffed at the boy again. "you know that you're laying on top of my girlfriend, right?" he mentioned, rolling his eyes back at the boy.

"she isn't even your girlfriend yet, you're too scared to officially ask her out." the child pointed out, sticking his tongue out at him.

"oh my god, shut up. all you two do fight half the time I'm with you, is that how siblings are? my mom likes to say that eunkyung and jiho are like my siblings but if I'm going to fight with them or an actual sibling all the time, I'm never going to want a sibling." yunhee spoke, breaking up their argument.

"having siblings sounds annoying as hell." she groaned.
