Science was hands-down my favourite subject back in school, especially physics, and especially magnets. The science behind them, how they work – it was like my personal obsession. (Not in a weird way, but you know your favourite toy as a child? The one you remember? Mine was anything magnetic)
Think about it, north and south, south and north - they will always find their way together, like an unstoppable team, once their magnetic fields connect, they are destined to be together, there's no separating them... maybe, with a bit of force you could. But you get me right? North and south are soulmates.
We all know what happens when you put north and north, or south and south together. They repel, trying to get away from each other - imagine you're trapped in a room with your worst enemy and you're desperately trying to escape. They will push away, they're naturally inclined to keep their distance.
Magnetic fields can also be powerful, take the earth for example. The earth's magnetic field protects it against the suns rays, protects the earth from danger. OH to see the Northern Lights, magnetism in action - an absolute dream.
Magnetic force fields are very similar to love, in my opinion. In a way, I believe each person has their own magnetic field, and by building relationships you find people you vibe with best! My best friend Raegan - since the moment we met, we've rarely been apart. Raegan, and her boyfriend Lando - North and South. My parents? North and north, they were just not meant to be.
Davide and I were each other's north and south, friends since we were babies until we jumped into a relationship in high school - back in Italy there was not A DAY you'd see us apart. But after I moved to Nice for pastry school - there was too much space between us, another magnet pulled him in - and the force which previously connected us, was no longer there.
Anyway, magnets and love, a weird mix of attraction and repulsion.
