Baileys pov

We have been staying with clarke for a while now and she is trying to teach me and madi English. I don't see the point in it tho because she speaks our language. But she clames it will be useful when her friends come back.

Madi is picking it up alot quicker then I am I can still hardly pronounce our English names clarke has given us. While madi is speaking in sentences there broken English but still more then I can do.

Clarke likes to tell us stories on how her people came from the sky octavia is madis favourite but mine has to be raven she is so smart and by the sounds of it she can take on the world with her brain I wish I could be smart. Octavia and Murphy have to be my second favourite because Murphy is unkillable they call him a roach but octavia is a fighter and never gave up fighting the as they call us "grounders"

We trusted clarke enough last week to show her where we were staying where we hid every time hedas men came looking for night bloods it's a good spot out off the way from everything.

Clarke is braiding madis hair while I practice my fighting skill. She doesn't like us fighting but she knows I do it to protect madi and now I am also doing it for clarke because she looking out for us now. She helps feed us and teaches us stuff that she has learnt on the ark and ground over the years.

"Bailey come on clarke said she will tell us a storie" she yells from where her and clarke are sat.

I run over and sit next to clarke on the opersite side to madi. Madi rest her head on clarke and I slowly do the same. She starts to tell us the story but I get confused with all the English I look over to madi she seems to understand and then looks at me if knowing I'm struggling.

Madis pov

I look over to Bailey to see if he is loving this story as much as me and then I notice he has no clue what she is saying. I let out a giggle and then say to clarke knowing Bailey won't understand "Clarke please speak story in trig he don't get it"

She turns towards him and says "we need to get your English better don't we little warrior"

He smiles at the name I think it suits him clarke calls me princes and says it reminds her of what Bellamy called her.

As I was thinking about it Bailey gets up and starts to yell
"Why can we just talk normal I don't wanna learn English it's to hard I don't need to know it to fight"

I can tell he is upset about it .

Clarkes pov

I feel bad for Bailey he is so smart but he struggles to learn he has no problem picking up a sword but when it come to English and ark lessons he struggles and it hurts him that he doesn't get it as quick as madi.

"Bailey it's OK you just need a bit more help then madi don't feel bad about not getting it as quick I promise I will try speak more so you understand I didn't think and spoke in English I'm sorry"

I open my arms for him to hug me and he slowly walks over and hugs me not even seconds later I feel madi join in on the hug. I take a minute to think of what would I be if I hadn't of met them and would have they survived but I quickly get that thought of off my head as thinking about it is upsetting.
