"We should probably just go to sleep, now..." Kai replied, to Kiki.
"Aww..." Whined Kyleigh.
"Makayla is already sleepy... We can't just keep her up and extra hour." Max pointed out.
"Why can't we just let her sleep and then we stay up." Kyleigh answered, in a stupid way.
"Why you think we should? She will hear one of us maybe scream and she might wake up, and cry." Kylie explained.
Lydian sighed in defeat, "Well... Let's just sleep. Kai was correct."
Makayla smiled, with her sleepy eyes. She yawned, as Kylie walked to pick her. up.
"Where is she sleeping?"
"In our room or her room." Max whispered.
"Where do you think we should put her." Kylie whispered, chuckling.
"Our room?" He asked, with a puzzled look.
While at downstairs, Kiki heard someone at the door.
"Who could be up at this hour?"
Kylie put Makayla on their bed and turned the lights off. She made sure nothing was forgotten in the room, before she closed the door. To go downstairs really quick to answer the door.
"Max, I'm going to answer the door. Stay up here with Makayla." She explained quickly, then dashed away.
"Kylie... don't answer the door." Lydian replied, rolling her eyes.
"Why, it might be a friend." She said, pausing her hand from reaching the doorknob.
"Who cares." Kai said, chuckling.
She opened the door anyways; it was pretty much Addison at the door.
"What are you doing here Addison?"
"I'm here to stay here, over the night for a little." He answered.
Kylie gulped, looking around the room. She sighed and then backed away to let Addison in.
"Don't do anything stupid." Kylie sighed.
"Alright, no need to tell me or remind me." Addison replied, walking upstairs.
"W-wa-wait!" Kylie choked on her words, saying them quickly.
"Makayla is sleeping, be quiet while walking!"
Addison had a puzzled look on his face, confused of who's Makayla.
"Who's that?"
"They're adopted kid." Kai answered, smirking.
Addison nodded, smiling. Walking upstairs quietly. Kylie scoffed, looking at Kai with her angry face.
"What?"
"Don't answer for me next time, I am a big girl I got it myself." Kylie said, looking the other way. She sighed heavily.
"Yeah right." Kai muttered.
~ Few Hours Later ~
The house was pitched black dark. No lights, no sounds. Everybody was sleeping, except Kylie who was on her phone. Texting her friend from Florida, Nova. The girl that was 15 years old, with her boyfriend.
(Funny Fact: For the Nova part, I had to guess what season I put Nova from Florida. It was crazy that I was just thinking about the girl that was from Florida. But I had to look, Ahah!)
~ Back to the Chapter ~
Nova was texting Kylie saying goodnight, she was going to visit. She did say something about her coming around the evening or the afternoon. If there's no delays on the plane. That would be amazing, no lie! Usually at Nova's place her planes would usually delay, and she would be late to some places. she's visiting.
To see someone or something else. Like Vacation.
Kylie smiled delightedly, trying not to get too excited. She didn't want to wake up Max or Makayla. Max was cuddling Kylie sightly, that kind of made her tired.
Which she is supposed to be... She turned to Max, then she put her hands on his face, with Makayla in the middle of the bed.
She closed her eyes, drifting her way to sleep.
~ The Morning ~
The sky was filled with clouds, the birds were tweaking loudly outside of the window. Making Kylie wake up, pretty earlier. She moved a little in the bed, slowly. Trying not to wake up Max and Makayla.
Kylie shrinked, trying to not to make any sounds. she went to the bathroom. To get ready for the day... Even though it hasn't started yet. But she wants to be on time.
After Kylie was done, she walked out of the room. Quietly she used her cupid wings to fly down the stairs, she looked at someone... There was someone outside.
Kylie gasped.
"What the f*ck!?"
She ran to it, getting her claws ready to scratch whatever she saw.
"Come out wherever you are!" She yelled.
The bushes were rustling, Kylie gasped, trying not to get very scared. She didn't move a single step closer to the bushes. Instead of being a crazy person who investigates stuff.
She went back into the house, locked her door. Closed the window curtains and turned the alarms on.
"I hope who ever that is, will leave by the time Nova gets here..." Kylie mumbled to herself, then sighed.
Going to the stairs, to wake up Max and Makayla... Before she did, she checked the time on the clock. It was only 7 am, about to be 8 am.
"I'm going to wake them up... I might need to tell them before Nova even makes it here..." Kylie whispered.
She opened the door, and saw Max already woken. Looking outside the window, to see any signs of Kylie. The window was sightly open.
She decided to scare Max, by shrinking into a little girl. Then growing to see Max's reaction. Walking up to Max she shrinked then just stood behind him. She grew bigger.
Max sighed heavily.
"Boo." Kylie shrieked.
He flinched and then he fell out the window, Kylie grabbed his hand. "I got you Max.."
Max sighed heavily, trying too not. panic.
"Good one... Just don't do it when I am near the window..."
"Why? I'll never drop you..." Kylie answered, "Besides you got wings you could fly... Don't worry."
Kylie pulled Max up, and then while was struggling to pull him. She fell and then hit the bed, ouch... that must've hurt though...
"Are you okay Kylie?" Max asked.
"Yeah... It didn't hurt..." She replied, giggling.
"Damn, you don't feel much pain do you?" He asked.
"Nope." She replied.
