The Avengers were just chilling in the living room, when they got a call from Nick Fury. "This can't be good" mumbled Y/N accepting the call.
"I have a mission for you guys. HYDRA is storing a highly dangerous weapon in San Francisco that would cause a disaster if they fired it at the S.H.I.E.L.D. or at the Tower. I need you to retrieve or destroy the weapon. I already sent the blueprints. Y/N will go in the building, since she is the best engineer we hav-" "HEY" Tony protested, "What about me?" "Your leg is still injured, you are NOT going on a mission" Fury answered whilst everyone else was trying to hold in a laugh at Tony's ego getting hurt.
"Anyways, Y/N is going in to get the weapon with Nat, Peter, Wanda and Pietro backing her up. Clint I want you on the roof of a nearby building and everyone else on the ground to take out any HYDRA agents that try to escape. You have to be careful, the building might self-destruct as a last resort" Fury continued.
"It wouldn't be the first time they try something like that" mumbled Natasha.
"Exactly. Tony, you can guide them from the tower" Fury added.
"If everything is clear I will leave you to continue what you were doing" Fury said before hanging up.
"So, when do you want to do this?" Tony asked, clearly still mad that he wouldn't be able to go on the mission. He knew that even if he tried the others would lock his suits away to prevent him from going.
"What is troubling you Y/N?" Natasha asked Y/N who seemed deep in thought.
"It's just that one of my friends lives in San Francisco and I know the voices would never leave me alone if something were to happen to him because of our mission" Y/N replied.
"Just because of the voices, sure" Nat said "HEY-" Y/N tried to protest but was quickly interrupted by FRIDAY "I have just received the location of the HYDRA base. You can ask your friend where he lives so you know if he's in danger because of our mission"
"Thank you FRIDAY" Y/N said before getting up and walking outside. There she took out her phone and messaged Techno

Hey, uhm, weird question but where exactly do you live?

Uhhh.... [insert address] Why are you asking?
Are you planning to come to San Francisco?

uhhhh...can we facetime? I need to tell you something
incoming facetime from: Techno
Y/N answered the call and laughed a bit at seeing Techno's shocked expression. "Why do you look so surprised?"
"I- Is that the... Avengers tower??" Techno answered.
"Perhaps" Y/N smiled.
"Look, I can't tell you everything, someone might hack the connection but what I CAN tell you is that there is a possible threat in San Francisco. Very close to where you live" Y/N continued.
"Wha- How do you even know that?" Techno seemed confused, but the fact that Y/N knew something not even the authorities seemed to know was a little unsettling.
"That's something that I can't tell you on the phone. I would tell you, but it's not safe enough to tell you like this" Y/N answered.
"I trust you, but you know that this all seems kinda suspicious, right?" Techno asked.
"I know. And I also know that I would not be able to live with the fact that one of my friends got hurt when I could have done something to prevent that" Y/N explained. That surprised Techno. He didn't think he meant that much to her.
"Could you actually stop this threat?" Techno asked, still not fully convinced.
"Well, as you said before, I'm on the avengers tower. I can't stop the threat" 'since I will be the one to cause it' (A/N everything in these ' ' are peoples thoughts) "but what I CAN do is bring you here for the night. The threat will probably be gone by tomorrow afternoon" Y/N explained which surprised Techno even more. Who was Y/N to be able to take him to the avengers tower just because she thought that something might happen to him? And why did she think he was worth the effort?
He was snapped out of his thoughts when Y/N spoke again "Hello, Earth to Technoblade! Someone there?" "Uh yes, sorry it's just a lot to take in" he answered, slightly embarrassed.
"Understandable. But would you agree to come here for the night?" Y/N asked, anxious. What if he was going to decline the offer? What if he didn't want to come? What if he didn't trust her? What if- "Sure. Why not" Techno's words snapped her out of her thoughts. "Can you pack up some essentials? And also back up your computer, just to be safe." she said, clearly relieved that he accepted. "So...when are you going to pick me up?" Techno asked. "Can you have everything ready in an hour?" "I mean, yes, but aren't you in New York? How are you going to get here in an hour?" "Leave that to be my problem" Y/N said with a smirk. She knew she could get there in less than 10 minutes if she wanted to.
"I already have your address so see ya in an hour" Y/N said. "Ok. Till then" Techno waved to the camera, and so did Y/N before hanging up.
