There was a large vent opening near the bottom of the room. Both doors leading out of the supposed bedroom were boarded up and the vent was my only option. This is like my tenth time being in one of these vents, and they never end well. I climbed inside and as I crawled further, the Pizzaplex's music started playing faintly in the distance. Weirdly enough it was the elevator music that would play in every single elevator in the building. Huh.The end of the vent opened up into a platform above Fazerblast. How was I here now? It was nearly pitch black, much darker than any of the other attractions I've visited so far, and the only light was coming from the glow in the dark designing on the walls. Something to make it more laser tag like I guess.
"Ugh! I bet those security nodes are all the way down there!"
I said I hated Monty Golf before. The darkness, the music, the bad vibes. But if there was any other attraction I was more terrified of it was it was laser tag. I hated turning a dark corner and not knowing whether or not someone with a gun was going to be in your face and shoot you on the spot or not. And there were always try hards too. No one liked them.
I looked over the railing from the platform I was on, it was going to be a maze getting around down there. Technically Fazerblast was already kind of like a maze but now it's even worse. To my right was another vent, seeming to lead down this time. However, when I climbed inside this one, it was different. There was graffiti one the siding reading "BADBEAR" and "FAZFIEND". Along with that came some drawings of Freddy's symbol with a big purple X over top. What was I getting myself into?
The vent finally dropped me off at the room a certain player would enter if they were to win the entire game. This is where that Fazerblast trophy was supposed to be in pretty sure. Except I've heard it's not actually a trophy but an actual Fazerblaster. It was missing either way, the rocket ship decor had crashed into the winner's table and destroyed the Fazerblast bot with it. Their little alien helmets are adorable. There was more graffiti one the walls this time reading, "HE DOESNT SEE YOU". Um who's he exactly? Maybe I should be scared now. There was a ramp leading into the attraction, and another blocked exit door. I had to go in anyways. Find the security node and find Gregory. Easy.
At the bottom of the ramp was the first area where you could capture the flag. Tons of bots were destroyed all over the ground yet somehow the flag was still standing. I used my mask to walk through a rocket ship ride that little kids would make their mom's spend 50 cents to ride for 30 seconds. It teleported me into the next capture the flag area, but I couldn't take off the mask anymore. The security node was luckily right in front of me but I had to find these child nodes fast. With the mask on I could somehow hear Freddy's voice faintly deep inside Fazerblast somewhere. Just kidding that's impossible, he's clearly not here, the mask loves to mess with me. Right?
The first child node I found was a menu-which honestly I never knew there was food here. The next node was a big banner looking thing which was just around the corner thankfully. I ran back to the parent node to deactivate it completely. Just in time I was then teleported to the other side of Fazerblast where I could now remove my mask. I had to crawl under the broken walls and this corner had to have been even darker than the other side. After ducking under who knows what, I saw a large animatronic lifeless and laying back into debris. It looked like Freddy. Well it was him. It had to be, I mean his head and upper half was bent backwards and crushed under a fallen walkway behind him but other than that it was Freddy. The only difference that caught my eye was on his left foot were the words "prototype".
