Broken Track

The garages behind the bumper cars were piled high with boxes labeled "fragile" and empty crates blocking my way. Everything was scattered on the floor and I had to zigzag my way through. A tall metal shelf to my left fell out in front of me dragging a staff bot down with it.

"Do you need assistance? Do you need assistance? Do you need assistance?"

"Shhh! Be quiet!"

The staff bot glitched and repeated it's forced voice line then short circuited as it's head rolled onto the ground. Poor little guy. I had to duck under the shelf it knocked over to get to the other side of the garage. I reached the small bumper car area, but with only two cars actually on it. There was a single staff bot all broken and beaten down in one of the cars. It looked like someone had drawn all over it's face with a jumbo sharpie. I walked further inside the raceway and came to a control panel right underneath the large "Roxy Raceway" sign. After charging it, a forklift that was once block my way lifted up, and I could hear another animatronic's footsteps. More like stomps I guess.

Roxy?

Roxy grunted in anger and disappointment in herself as she paced right in front of me. She must be looking for Gregory

"Hey kid come on out, we're only trying to help. You can't hide forever."

Ew ew ew when did she get this scary. She was never like this at my birthday parties before. Roxy wouldn't go too far from where I was so I had to think of something fast. Directly across from me was a camera system. If I can use the intercom I can lore (get it) Roxy away from me. I waited patiently for her to walk slightly out of sight before running towards the camera system. Quickly, I pressed the intercom button on the first camera and Roxy took the bait.

"I'm so scared and alone!"

Huh. It was Gregory's voice. He must've programmed the camera systems to do exactly this. I pressed the button again on the second camera, and then the third. Roxy broke through a door that was covered with broken wood pieces and created an open path for me. Perfect. Before she decided to turn around I ran in her direction in hopes of finding Gregory.

"Gregory?! You can't hide forever!"

"She hasn't found him yet. I better find him first."

There was still hope. Roxy was now in front of me, but there was yet another camera system I could access using the mask. I waited for Roxy's loud footsteps to sound further away before making another straight shot to the cameras. To my right I could see the race track-or what was left of it. The entire track was demolished and there was a large hole in the ceiling. The foundation of the building was showing as a big concrete wrecking ball hung lifelessly above me. The place was going to be torn down. There was the sinkhole that closed the Pizzaplex but someone was planning to destroy it anyway. Maybe they were rebuilding? Whatever that wasn't important right now. Anyways, using the camera system I lured Roxy through four different cameras in the raceway. She finally broke through another wall and I followed her path. With the mask, I walked through a food order sign that specialized in Taco Tuesdays. You'd think that would be in El Chip not here.

On the other side there was a sign that read, "This attraction is temporarily closed. Please enjoy another attraction." Yeah no kidding. Past the door Roxy had broken down was the outside of the information desk. There were staff bots hanging from the ceiling. Something had to have destroyed them, they weren't just broken but torn apart. I ducked past them to find the big closed gate that led to Roxy's Glamrock beauty salon. It never was really open, even when the entire Pizzaplex was. I guess they didn't want guests entering that way or something. While walking towards it, and car from the raceway suddenly turn its headlights on and drove straight in my direction. I jumped out of the way just in time for it to crash into the boxes behind me, blocking the way I came in. The only way left now was forward. I turned towards the door of the information desk, and charged a control panel to get inside.

When taking my first step through the door, Roxy jumped out from my right side and grabbed me by the arm. Her face was inches from mine as she lunged forward. Her eyes were completely gone. She honestly looked terrifying. Almost all of her endoskeleton was visible and you could hear her gears whirl and overheat with every move she made. Her hair that she held so much pride in was completely gone, and I could only recognize little of her features.

   "Give me back my eyes!!"

I screamed as she got closer to my face barring her teeth.

   "AH LET GO!"

I put my hand up to block her as my only form of defense. Somehow it seemed to throw her off as she froze, looked at my hand, and drew back from my face. Roxy studied my arms that she had a tight grip on and suddenly seemed surprised and quickly let go.

   "Im..sorry."

Sorry? My once favorite character that I invited to host all of my birthdays tried to kill me and now she was sorry?Animatronics don't have feelings. At least not anymore, I mean I love Roxy and she'll forever be my favorite, but now she was unrecognizable and to her I'm sure I was unrecognizable too. Right? So how could she say sorry.

   "error.."

She closed the door and locked me in, I could only hear her muffled voice from the outside. I struggled to find my breath before turning to see the inside of the information desk. I needed Gregory.

"Gregory!!" My heart was still racing. "I'm in Roxy Racer's. SAY SOMETHING!"

"I can hear you! Can you hear me?"

"Yes! I can. What happened here? It looks like the whole place fell in?!"

"Something tunneled down. Broke everything! Now I'm stuck here!"

"I really think I need to go get help. Or call the police!"

"What?! How is that supposed to help. There's no time!"

Gregory I love you and all but are you actually dumb. Yes, the answer is yes.

"Fine. Where are you?! This place is huge!"

"Down there-sinkhole under the raceway!" Gregory's voice was glitching out. The signal must be going out again.

"Under the raceway..Helpi! How do I get down there?"

This was the only time you'd catch me asking Helpi for help. Even through it's in his name, he kind of sucks at it. He told me the area was now in security lockdown really I hadn't noticed, and that there were two security nodes remaining. One in Bonnie Bowl and one in Fazer Blast. Great. I still had a long way to go. Hold on Gregory.

In the back of the information desk there was a door that led to an open grate in the floor where I jumped down. I was in some kind of tunneling system when I climbed a ladder to reach some kind of office looking room. There was a old security desk, like the one you'd see in games, as well as old racks of Pizzaplex merch. The wallpaper was peeling away and one single monitor glitched on. I passed through the exit door turning down a long hallway. There was a little mopping staff bot frozen in place in the corner next to a very large poster reading, "BE CAREFUL 100% of fatal accidents involve human beings"

Hm. That wasn't a good sign.
