2 - totally un-needed Dinner Celebration

i got a call at around 12pm today from Kit. he was telling me how his mum over reacted about him being on netflix and decided to do a family celebration dinner type thing, and of course im invited. i wasnt mad though as it gave me an excuse to see his little sister.(ok so apparently he has a brother irl but i want to imagine he has a little sister for this, mainly bc he gives those vibes in that he has a sister but no he has a brother.)

Evie is like a sister to me and we get along so well, i love getting to spend time with her. although Kit does get a bit jeslous and clingy sometimes if i havent bern giving him enough attention. literal animal. mustve took notes from his dogs, Basil and Sybil. (bro y wont google tell me the dogs gender😭 im jst going with they r both boys idfk man)

so currently, i was trying to pick and outfit that actually look nice on me. clothing peice after clothing peice was thrown carelessly on the floor of my walk in wardrobe. finally i decided on an outift. blue jeans, a black tank top and spiderman hoodie to go on top as it  is kinda chilly out.

i then put on a littke bit of jewlery and light makeup, slightly to the theme of spiderman because i eas feeling it today.

my outfit was nothing fancy but atleast it wadnt jogger and a hoodie which im 99.9% sure Kit will end ul be wearing.

i had planned on arriving at around 1/1:30pm so i could hang out with Kit for a bit before dinner. although Evie will most likely steal me from him!

*knock knock knock knock knock*

the door swung open to a very in need of help looking Kit, a beaming Evie on his back and an excited Basil in Kits arms. Also Sybil barking at me around Kits legs.

"woah there KitKat looks like youre very poular this afternoon huh?"

"oh thank god youre here please help me El!" he sounded so done with everything.

"alrighty then. Evie, i think i deserve a hug from you, c'mere!" i picked her up off of Kits back and spun her around, slightly holding her away from my chest before putting her down. I began 5 year old conversation as i gave Kit a synpathetic pat on the shoulder whildt walking into the living room, where toys were spread out and a nintendo switch home screen eas displayed on the tv. 'looks like Kits been busy today' i thought to myself.

silently praying to god i dont die, i sat down on the floor and began playing barbie as demanded by Evie.

"ah Ellie its wonderful to see you again! i feel like the last time i saw you was years ago!"

"haha well it was only last month! but its nice to see you again too mum!" i would call Sarah 'mum' usually, as she was genuinely like a second mother to me! sometimes i secretly wish she was my mother, but she would definately have to disown Kit as i could never live with being his sister. I idolise Evie for it tbh like HOW, i can barely stand him and i dont even live with him. i love him though so i probably shouldnt be too mean.

me and Evie had played barbie for a while, with Kit very relcutantly joining in at one point to play Ken, my hudband. I was Barbie and Evie was the kid. the little small blonde one, whatever her name was.

but finally it was time to clean up and get ready for dinner. the 3 of us cleaned, relatively fast really the only reason Evie even did anything is because i made it into a game for her. honestly sometimes i think im better at being an older sibling than Kit is. kinda funny.

once we finished cleaning, which didnt take too long, kit set the table whilst his mum and dad dished up the dinner, as they finished a plate i took it to that whoevers it was' seat so they could have more space. I had already been here for dinner pleanty of times to know that everybody had their designated seats, and appsrently plates. yeah dont ask, Evie got attached to this one plate and then Sarah already had her oen plate so Kit and Dan just use whatever plate, but Dan always has more so you know its his. also rhe fact one plate is chipped so clearly Kit did that.
