Chapter 16: Meet

"Eren told you he likes Mika?" kuryoso kong tanong.

Umiling siya. "Not directly, baby. But he kept mentioning her."

"Then they should be together," agap ko.

Humalakhak siya. "Eren knows what he is doing."

"Maybe he needs help?"

Maddox kissed my right eye making me shut it and pout. I wanna play cupid but I guess Mika is still young and Eren is taking his time.

"We will help when Eren says so, okay?"

Tumango ako.

Humalakhak siya ng mahina. "I can't wait for you to meet them."

I'm nervous about that but excited. Wala namang ibang nangyayari sa buhay ko mula noong dumating si Maddox, there is a lot of emotions but it is more on love, excitement, and thrill.

For more than hour, we spent it enjoying each other's embrace until we decided to hit home. I don't want him to leave. Oh, Skyrah, who are you? You are one thirsty and clingy girlfriend.

"Good night, baby." bulong niya pagkatapos ng mapupusok na halik. "Sweet dreams, dewdrop."

I nodded a bit. "Good night, Dox."

"Susunduin kita bukas,"

"Okay..." bulong ko at unti unti siyang binitawan. "Drive safe,"

"I will, baby."

He took a deep sigh as he stepped back. Hindi siya aalis kung hindi ko isisira ang pinto kaya dahan dahan ko itong inabot. He gave me a soft smile before I could fully close the door.

Tinakbo ko ang aking kwarto upang matingnan ang pag alis niya mula sa aking bintana. I watched him slowly walking back to his car. It didn't move even though he is already inside. My heart clenched and I pouted my lips. Dahan dahan na itong umuusad palayo kaya bumuntonghininga ako.

I dropped myself on my bed, what happened today flashes on my mind. I smiled like an idiot and giggled. I can't wait to see him tomorrow.

"Good morning, Dox." masigla kong bati sa kanya habang sinalubong siya.

He planted a soft kiss on my lips which made me stand on my tiptoe. Akala ko tatagal ang halik ngunit sandali lamang iyon kaya dumilat agad ako nang umalis ang labi niya.

"Dox!"

Ngumiti siya. "Good morning, baby."

Sinamaan ko lang siya ng tingin.

"Come here," halakhak niya habang hinila ako at siniil ulit ng malambing na halik.

It is longer than the previous one. I responded immediately. Dahan dahan akong dumilat nang bumitaw na kami sa halik. I flashed a bright smile at him.

"My girlfriend is not grumpy anymore?" malambing niyang suyo.

Humalakhak ako at hinila na siya patungo sa aming kusina. Of course he'll have breakfast with us before we left for school.

"Good morning, Tito, Tita, Atticus." pormal niyang bati.

Agad ngumiti si Atticus at bumaba sa upuan. "Kuya Dox!"

"Good morning, mijo."

"Hali na kayo, kumain na."

Maddox crouched a bit to Atticus' level and gave him a fist bump. It became their thing now, doing that fist bump.

After breakfast, we went off to school. May kukunin din si Maddox sa paaralan, his research stuffs, kaya pupunta siya. I was about to go out from his car when he pulled me back.
