Sitting in his study, Lucius was plowing through the myriad of things on his desk that was going to need attended to at some point in the next week. After casting a basic spell to organize things into piles according to basic dates of when they came, he was starting to sort through and put them into the order of when they needed to be taken care of. He didn't think, from what he had seen, there was anything emergent or urgent he had to attend to right away. It was more of the standard things that came with investments, business and whatnot, nothing more.

While reading some of the correspondence after the sorting, Lucius was startled by a noise at the door to the study. As it was well known he wanted to be left alone by all when working, especially the house elves, he looked up, wondering what was going on. Seeing Narcissa there, nose buried in a book with a trail of other tomes levitating behind her, he was amused. Normally, this wasn't something his wife of many years did. Oh yes, Narcissa was a well read woman, one that could lose herself for hours in a good book, but seeing this was odd and amusing. Leaning back in his chair, he watched her as she stepped in, bumping into a chair as she did so. Snorting in amusement, he said, "Good book, Narcissa?"

Looking up, startled, having been lost in what she was reading, Narcissa just gave a small smile to her husband, "Well, let's say interesting, shall we?" Walking over, she sat in the chair in front of her husband's desk then directed the books trailing behind her into a stack on the edge of the massive old desk.

"I assume you came in to disturb me for something other than to explain a plotline?" He asked, amused, crossing his legs.

"No, nothing like that," Narcissa told him with a dismissive wave of her hand. Sitting the book she was reading down, still open with a marker on the page, she looked at Lucius then said, "I came for some assistance."

As that was unusual, Lucius nodded then asked, "What do you need help with? I assume," stopping, he glanced at the titles of the books, then continued, sounded distracted, "this has to do with research you're doing for our lord? The titles are-- odd so I assume it's for that."

"It is," Narcissa nodded firmly. Grabbing the book she was reading, she handed it over to Lucius then said, "Read the part about the Hallows Prophecy and Master of Death."

Taking the ancient tome, Lucius quickly read through what she asked of him, brow furrowing as he did. When he finished, he sat it down then looked at it, finger rubbing over his upper lip. "That is most odd."

"I agree," Narcissa nodded firmly. "I have to ask; have you heard of this before? Anything about either?"

"I vaguely recall something about the Hallows, beyond the children's story that is, and the mention of someone being the Master of Death. However, where that is from, I don't know. Perhaps it was father I heard about it from at some point in the past. He was one that liked such tales and enjoyed reading about them." Looking back at his wife, he asked, "Why?"

"I was wondering where else I could look for such things. These books," she said pointing to the stack, "have a little bit in them on it, but the one I handed you has the most. I was hoping you might know somewhere I could get my hands on them besides our library. I've gone through everything in there that even mentions either thing, and this is the best I can come up with. I want to be able the present the most I can on it to our lord, but am coming up woefully short of information."

Understanding, Lucius nodded and tried to think. As this appeared to be something his wife was doing at the behest of the Dark Lord, he was more than willing to help. After several minutes, he shook his head then said, "I don't know, Narcissa. I really don't. These tales are so old that I'm unsure where I could send you that might have something. Even private libraries I can think of aren't as well stocked on legends as ours is. In this case, maybe, you should go to the Dark Lord and explain what you found then ask for his help? I have a meeting with him about other things this afternoon. I can mention it if you like."
