Immeasurable

I remember the days when we were still strong

We would walk and talk all day long

We would sit under a tree and compose a song

Everything seemed right, nothing was wrong

I remember the moment when she said, "Yes, Father, I do"

My world was then filled with every possible hue

Life was like a seed that has sprung anew

Everything was right and too good to be true

I remember the times when I fought with her

How much I missed the echoes of her laughter

And when we make up I could see pure wonder

On her bright eyes in which spell I fell under

I remember the night she didn't eat dinner

Began forgetting our home like she wasn't the owner

Her body started to become frail and thinner

We lost the battle and death was the winner

How I long for the memories of the past

How I yearn for her affection so precious and vast

Now, beside her grave I lied down so fast

And our immeasurable love meets again at last!
