Lost At Sea

Chapter 1

Rachel's POV :

"RINNNNGG" goes the last bell of my sophomore year. I hurry toward my group of weirdo friends in the corner of the hallway.

" Hey there beautiful." says Todd. Todd and I have been dating for over a year now. He has sandy blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. 

" Hey Rach! Guess how many days till our trip?!" screams Ally. Ally is on the cheer team. Luckily she isn't a snotty cheerleader like the rest of them. She has a blonde ponytail that sways back and forth when she walks and sparkling emeralds for eyes.

" Quiet down, Rachel just got here." says Jay sneaking a kiss on her cheek. Jay and Ally have been dating for 3 years. Jay has brown hair and dark brown eyes.

I giggled as I see everyone getting along. I glance over and see a red haired kid with loads of freckles on his face and green eyes named Coby. Lets just say he is the least attractive out of all of us.

" Hey, has anyone seen Kathleen and CJ?" I ask.

" I saw them by their lockers." says Todd.

I nod and listen to the rest of the conversation about Ally breaking her nail.

Kathleen's POV:

"Hey beautiful." I turn around to get a surprise kiss on the lips from CJ. "Hey CJ." I say and turn back to my locker. I've been dating CJ for 2 years, he has light brown hair and bright green eyes. "Guess what tomorrow is!"

"It's our summer cruise duh. We've been planning it for months now how could I forget!?" I tell him. "Haha I guess." He laughs and I gather all my stuff out of my locker.

We walk towards our group of friends and hear them talking. "So Ally broke her nail huh?" I eavesdrop on their conversation. "The lovebirds are finally here!" Rachel laughs. "We aren't lovebirds!" I yell back at her and we all laugh. "Well lets not stay here! We have packing to do!" Todd shouts. "Yay!!" We all shout and walk outside. "I'll see you tomorrow at 2 on the dock" I kiss CJ on the cheek. "I'll see you then." We all say our goodbyes and leave.

"I'm home!!" I shout to my mom. "How was your last day of school?" She shouted back "Great! I'm gonna go pack!" I run up to my room and grab a suitcase. "Umm where is it?" I look for my chap stick. I pack everything I need for a 3 week cruise ship. I have to use 3 different suitcases for all my clothes and stuff. I hear my phone ringing. "Hello?" I pick it up. "KATHLEEN I CAN'T FIND MY FAVORITE T-SHIRT!!" Rachel. "YOU KNOW THE ONE THAT'S BLUE AND-"

"Yes Rachel I know what your talking about. Have you looked under your bed?" I sigh. "OF COURSE I HAVE I MEAN WHY WOULDN'T- oh hey there it is. Thanks Kathleen!"

"Uh-huh." I hang up and see it's already 11. I get up and get ready for bed. "I can't wait for our cruise!" I think to myself as I lay in bed and finally drift off to sleep.

Rachel's POV :

I head home and start packing for the cruise. After about three hours of packing, I was finally able to go to bed. Tomorrow is going to be a fun day.

I wake up the next morning.  Then it hits me. Today is the cruise!!! I hurry up and get dressed and eat breakfast.

" Bye Mom!!! " I scream as I run out the door to the Chevy pickup sitting in the driveway.

After quite a drive, I finally reached the dock. I hop out of the car and grab my luggage. I see all my friends waiting at the dock. Thank the lord, I'm not the last person here. We are still waiting for Coby.

" Hey lovely, how'd you sleep last night?" asks Todd.

" Like a rock." I say.

The cruise ship sounds its horn.

" TIME TO GET ON THE BOAT !! " screams Ally.

Coby is walking up to us now. I'm glad he made it. He almost missed the boat.

Coby has no concept of time at all. He is always late. Yet, we still love him.

We walk to the check in booth and check in. We pay our money and get going.

We reach the boat right on time. Its officially summer!
